Finally got chance to test it on highway, it will be activated when there is no lamp post. Very accurate and nice headlamps, even brighten the signboards! So bright, lol.

guys just got my m3 basic last 2 week.
a couple of questions

-is it normal car delivered is 150km 
-brake pedal squeaky/thumping sound when depress
-what tyre is standard for the m3 basic ? as i got a toyo neoenergy.
-budget 1.5k can get 3m tint ?
before this all my car with raytech but thinking of trying out 3m. or other brand if better value.

btw how do you enable autolock when driving. seems to be no option for basic , even the central lock button is also unavailable. also no buzz when lock/unlock.

guys for full tank how many km on average can you guys go ?
is 650km a good figure.

done 1k km with the car.
so far im fully satisfied.
only downside is road noise.
perhaps at this price range the N-vh is mediocre at best. 
mine is basic specs , perhaps full specs owner can share if their sound insulation is better.

btw any of you guys have gap at the instrument meter left and right side near steering?
complaint and they say its normal.

anyway to update on my stonking pedal,its not a grease issue need to leave car for 2 days at SC
dont know if this is normal or not. they said need to service servo etc as no replacement will be done.
and that is after i ask to speak to the manager. as they said use it first if sound persist then come again.

FC for me it's still considered very much improved as I moved down from a Proton Exora where RM100 of fuel gives me 400km but now the M3 gives me 400km at RM80. of course don't factor the price of the car in lah lol.

haha leg room still ok la. even if got baby, not like your kid will outgrow the leg room within 4-5 years. Also M3 the chairs can move down for more luggage space. Civic macam cannot IIRC.

Less popular brands means there's also less waiting time to do your car service. Really hate it when I need to book an appointment months in advance to do car service.

Yeah our petrol prices are top 10-20 cheapest in the world but people still complaint.

About the ron95 vs 97 debate, apparently there are torque benefits to using higher ron as shown by mazda's latest presentation on their future engines which also shows the current skyactiv engine.

I believe the new GVC is possible to have SCBS of up to 80km/h, someone will need to confirm because I've personally driven the GVC and seen the collision warning while driving at around 75km/h, a huge "BRAKE" sign in red will pop up in the HUD. The sensors were set for "early" so there was enough time to brake.

I know that there is definitely no lane assist, just warning only.

I just saw this post on reddit talking about jerky gear changes (from 4th to 5th gear, and from 2nd to 1st gear) in their automatic transmissions. Any owners notice jerky gear changes in their Mazda 3s? I didn't notice any unusual jerks during my test drive.

Any issues with warranty adding front bumper sensors and things like auto brek lock, auto folding mirrors etc?

Bought a generic car battery in SS14 after having the battery warning light on since April (I love that the istop doesnt function..) but yeah I only went to change after my start up feels very, very weak. I know I'm playing a risky game. They initially told me to bring it back to service centre because it has the i-stop function and the battery they changed will disable that. I told them that's fine. Then they wanted to charge me MYR650 for a battery "specifically" made for my car size. I told them that's too expensive and ask them for a different kind. So they gave me some generic brand and charged me MYR477 including GST, one year warranty. iStop functioned again. Is that weird?
