I went to a service centre in setapak just now and they mentioned there's no such thing as replacement of one time battery in the 3 year warranty. They say it is not covered under warranty and they need to charge for it. Is there such thing? Which serve centre offer free replacement ?

Hi guys...i duno did you guys realise this but i jus got my car like nearly 3 months and i realise that for m3 driver side whenever we sit into it and sometimes when we go thru bumps or uneven roads our driver seat sometimes will produce some squeeking sound which coming from the right hand side the ear piece which support our lap...did anyone here facing this issue cos i went to SC twice at pj federal highway they jus told me that is nt tied up properly but still the sound producing...anyone here facing this issue?

Anyone have this annoying kreeeekk sound coming from the back seat / bonnet area when driving on 'even but not so smooth' road condition?
The sound is like something is touching the metal part of the car and its vibrating and its surely annoying as hell. Asked the sc to check also just now but as usual their response was we have tighten this and that etc. Please anyone knows abt this can share?

Hi Expert, I noticed that my steering wheel leather peeling off. It started off with some notable tiny flakes coming off and eventually become like this. Any fix for this?

I do apply Turtle Wax leather protection on monthly basis.

dear fellow M3ers...i believe most of us have experienced the mickey mouse rattling on the suspension area especially on WET days

as it was raining for the past wk, the sound just got louder...n before that had already sent to SC for some change, and yet still persist

very disappointed with this car...not sure if its SC problem, anyone any ideas how to fix this for good ? or maybe apply PU change on the lower arm entirely ?

later at night reached home and realized...both headlights have water vapor in it...

i can claim new set of headlights from SC right? plan to do it on 1K service.

But mine was only driver seat was encounter but so far as for passenger seat and rear seat no issue and only for my driver seat produce those 'ngek' 'ngek' sound...as for my lower arm i had raise the issue but only for my seat for driver side and also my rvm at passenger keep shows that there are vehicle incoming when i travel more then 150km/h.

They just told me that they had clean up the sensor and asked me to try again...but i tried at ldp during midnight still the same...they did advised me to go SC at glenmarie to reset the whole rbm agsin but i duno should i do so or leave it to b in this way...

The i stop problem happened again after a week but this time with another new problem.

share my experience here.

Drove in on Saturday 930am, there wasn't any customer over the premises, except 1 suzuki swift still on the service bay (this used to be suzuki SC).

opt for Fully syn upgrade and cancelled off all the "recommended extras" (wiper washer, engine treatment injector cleaner...bla bla)

reported some knocking noise from everytime engine restart back from istop function.

car is in service bay, noticed that mechanic placed shell hx7 instead of fully yn beside my car. When told, then only apologized "sorry took wrong"

The Shell Fully syn is 5w-40 (4L) + 1 L 5W-30, i feel a bit skeptical about this, since my previous oil was 5W-30 during 1st 1K service.

Mechanic tried to tighthen lower arm bolt for the suspected noise issue as above, in the end the lower arm bult thread got damaged and claimed its rusted due to accumulation of water (does anyone faced this?)

claimed to top up my battery water, and remainder of fluid placed in the boot, but never saw it there.

Conclusion:

1. Despite lack of customer traffic, I personally found that this SC does not gave me a peace of mind, everything needs to be double checked. God knows what happened if i wasn't there to inspect.

2. even im on fully syn now, but it feel heavier than usual, is 5W-40 meant for this skyactiv anyone can confirm?

3. Last good news, battery still can claim for free (if within 1 year or 20,000km) but replacement is only same Wet type.

4. Was told that the SC in Berjaya Industrial Park is better. any experience from you all?

1. it won't harm to your car, SC recommended the Q85 is because it designed to support the i-Stop. perhaps it may kill off the battery faster? the answer is yes or no, let me post again and finger cross. 
2. i called to SC and check this may not void your car's warranty.

mind to share your experience on Tarco SR-1, cause it is a racing engine oil just thinking to try it out but the car still under warranty and if any issue to the car may void the warranty.

any difference in term of power? where you bought the SR-1? i saw this engine oil was selling RM90 per liter last 2 years.
