QUOTE(Aizat2402 @ Dec 27 2016, 12:23 AM) Ya bro it disappeared after restart. But after a while it comes back. Today only 4 times already. will eventually happen to all owners How did you know? Happened to you also? QUOTE(Aizat2402 @ Dec 27 2016, 12:50 AM) 1st time is under the 3 years warranty, after that is depends on the battery's manufacturer warranty, usually is 20k or 1 year whichever come first |

QUOTE(neospider @ Dec 28 2016, 09:47 AM) Hi, noob here. We got many members from m3 skyactiv group changed already, try other service centre like sg besi, old Klang road or glenmarie hqI went to a service centre in setapak just now and they mentioned there's no such thing as replacement of one time battery in the 3 year warranty. They say it is not covered under warranty and they need to charge for it. Is there such thing? Which serve centre offer free replacement ? Thank you in advance. |

QUOTE(JnJ6397 @ Dec 30 2016, 04:10 AM) Hi guys...i duno did you guys realise this but i jus got my car like nearly 3 months and i realise that for m3 driver side whenever we sit into it and sometimes when we go thru bumps or uneven roads our driver seat sometimes will produce some squeeking sound which coming from the right hand side the ear piece which support our lap...did anyone here facing this issue cos i went to SC twice at pj federal highway they jus told me that is nt tied up properly but still the sound producing...anyone here facing this issue? Need some advise. QUOTE(Aizat2402 @ Dec 30 2016, 07:18 PM) Anyone have this annoying kreeeekk sound coming from the back seat / bonnet area when driving on 'even but not so smooth' road condition? so far didnt see any complain about sound coming out from seat, mostly is from the front lower arm that will give "kruk" sound when passing through bump and uneven road, you will heard the "ngek" sound when passing through bump after driving under rainThe sound is like something is touching the metal part of the car and its vibrating and its surely annoying as hell. Asked the sc to check also just now but as usual their response was we have tighten this and that etc. Please anyone knows abt this can share? what you heard might be the ticking noise from the bonnet near the wiper cover area where 2 piece of metal hitting each other very rapidly? |

QUOTE(venusdelite @ Jan 1 2017, 04:13 PM) Hi Expert, I noticed that my steering wheel leather peeling off. It started off with some notable tiny flakes coming off and eventually become like this. Any fix for this? i think is due to our sweat + hot weatherI do apply Turtle Wax leather protection on monthly basis. someone in the m3 group has successfully claimed a new steering wheel from sc, brand new one you're selling quite some good stuff there This post has been edited by amduser: Jan 2 2017, 09:20 PM |

QUOTE(quicksilver9832 @ Jan 2 2017, 10:38 PM) dear fellow M3ers...i believe most of us have experienced the mickey mouse rattling on the suspension area especially on WET days is the car bushing design problem, some members changed few times still the same, first few weeks ok one then eventually the sound will come back again as it was raining for the past wk, the sound just got louder...n before that had already sent to SC for some change, and yet still persist very disappointed with this car...not sure if its SC problem, anyone any ideas how to fix this for good ? or maybe apply PU change on the lower arm entirely ? best advice is to ignore the problem or go for aftermarket spring and absorber, got member said the sound gone after they go for aftermarket lowered spring if you are dissappointed with this car, try to look at other car, at least we dont send our car to sc for a month without car to drive QUOTE(Revamperz @ Jan 2 2017, 11:13 PM) i also wish la, but too bad still the same design i like the steering design for both the current one and facelift, but the material they used seems like not so convincing |

QUOTE(Aizat2402 @ Jan 5 2017, 04:01 PM) Thanks. I also couldn't find it, but I think it's the YouTube video posted above, another possible cause might be at the speedometer and HUD dashboard there, I'm having that problem as wellAny chance you can change it back to stock settings after you mod it (you know for warranty claim purposes). Btw bro , you mentioned that day about the tiktik sound coming from wiper cover near bonnet area. Tried looking for the exact spot but dont know where. mind telling me ? I remember there's one post abt this , complete with picture , but not sure who posted it. I have search through the pages one by one but still couldnt find it. |

QUOTE(Monkey King @ Jan 18 2017, 10:27 PM) guys anyone experiencing dim HID headlight? found this after side by side comparison with typical halogen type headlight from other car and judging from the amount of light intensity on road..... 2016 M3 HS Adjust the headlight level higher can help, the hid is not very visible at bright Street at night but once you drive to places without Street light you can really see the our projector doing its job projecting wide beam to the side of the road and far ahead, pairing with auto high beam the headlight is very nice |

QUOTE(Monkey King @ Feb 20 2017, 08:26 AM) Gus, just did my 10k service in SMG Auto Sri Rampai, Setapak dont waste money for fully synth oil from mazda, they are using 5w40 which you can definitely get the heavy feel and responsiveness, for me i will go for other brand like Torco SR-1share my experience here. Drove in on Saturday 930am, there wasn't any customer over the premises, except 1 suzuki swift still on the service bay (this used to be suzuki SC). opt for Fully syn upgrade and cancelled off all the "recommended extras" (wiper washer, engine treatment injector cleaner...bla bla) reported some knocking noise from everytime engine restart back from istop function. car is in service bay, noticed that mechanic placed shell hx7 instead of fully yn beside my car. When told, then only apologized "sorry took wrong" The Shell Fully syn is 5w-40 (4L) + 1 L 5W-30, i feel a bit skeptical about this, since my previous oil was 5W-30 during 1st 1K service. Mechanic tried to tighthen lower arm bolt for the suspected noise issue as above, in the end the lower arm bult thread got damaged and claimed its rusted due to accumulation of water (does anyone faced this?) claimed to top up my battery water, and remainder of fluid placed in the boot, but never saw it there. Conclusion: 1. Despite lack of customer traffic, I personally found that this SC does not gave me a peace of mind, everything needs to be double checked. God knows what happened if i wasn't there to inspect. 2. even im on fully syn now, but it feel heavier than usual, is 5W-40 meant for this skyactiv anyone can confirm? 3. Last good news, battery still can claim for free (if within 1 year or 20,000km) but replacement is only same Wet type. 4. Was told that the SC in Berjaya Industrial Park is better. any experience from you all? if you look smooth and better engine response then get 5w-30 or 5w-20, our car is designed for that, actually all new road cars are designed to use 5w-30 if you cant decide which sc to go, go for bermaz sc you can join our m3 skyactiv group to find out more on this kind of info |

QUOTE(pioneer86 @ Feb 20 2017, 02:29 PM) 1. it won't harm to your car, SC recommended the Q85 is because it designed to support the i-Stop. perhaps it may kill off the battery faster? the answer is yes or no, let me post again and finger cross. i would suggest others to stay with Q85 unless someone has tested other range of battery is proven to work without premature death on the battery or premature wear and tear on the alternator2. i called to SC and check this may not void your car's warranty. hope i have answered your questions. |

QUOTE(pioneer86 @ Feb 20 2017, 02:35 PM) mind to share your experience on Tarco SR-1, cause it is a racing engine oil just thinking to try it out but the car still under warranty and if any issue to the car may void the warranty. my vios is using this oil for 6 years and so far no issue with enginethis time is my first time using SR-1 on my m3 and i noticed a big difference, engine response is better and less drop in speed if i let go of the accelerator compare to the shell semi synth even though they are both same 5w-30 viscosity after you go sc to change the oil then go outside workshop drain the engine oil and pour in your desire engine oil, some member has done that |

QUOTE(pioneer86 @ Feb 20 2017, 02:58 PM) there are 2 type, SR-1 and SR-1R, the latter is more expensive around 75-80 per liter there wont be an increase in power, hp and torque still same, but you will feel the car easier to rev at low rpm hence more responsive just like how changing aftermarket drop-in air filter will notice that your car more willing to go higher speed while using stock you might suffer at 140km/h, this usually occur on N/A 1.5L car QUOTE(empty1339 @ Feb 20 2017, 03:20 PM) nice bodykit |
