QUOTE(linkinstreet @ May 11 2007, 11:01 PM) okaaaaaaaaaayy.... How the hell the Renault ends so high up? they put on fresh rubbers... QUOTE Despite some late runs on new rubber from the Renault team, Alonso remained fastest of the day with a best lap of 1:21.397s. Perhaps more importantly for Alonso, he was significantly faster than Hamilton over the long distance runs, something that should pay dividends as the weekend unfolds.
Giancarlo Fisichella and Heikki Kovalainen vaulted up the order right at the end of the session to set the second and third fastest times respectively. In fairness, while the times were impressive, the Renault duo were somewhat out of sequence with their rivals who did not go for a quick run at the close of Friday play.

all of them are using v8 engine as its alredi fixed and no more upgrades to the engines so no v10 is allowed..aguri are being complaint that they are using last yr's Honda's chassis while same thing for Toro Rosso

QUOTE(pilotHans @ May 12 2007, 02:27 PM) anyone knows the exact timing on Astro tonight...... 7pm or 8pm? also tomorrow race day at what time? don't want to start late like the bahrain qualifying the other day both qualifying and race will start at 8pm QUOTE(-= Virgil =- @ May 12 2007, 03:08 PM) Hey guys, i wanted to clear some rumor floating around the net on the new McLaren rear wings... McLaren's Flexing WingsIf the wing are really flexing downwards, then how in the world did they pass the FIA test before letting it loose on the circuit?! that's y all teams are looking for loop holes and have all kinds of weird upgrades then other team will start to complain if they think it is illegal then FIA will do some research on that thing to determine if it does violate the rules

QUOTE(Hornet @ May 15 2007, 12:13 PM) actually so far Massa himself has his own share of bad luck. Australia, he had a gearbox problem in qualifying. Even last year, both Michael and Massa change engine for Sepang GP, and then in Japan, Michael engine blows up... and yes, just like Alonso's Renault engine blowing up in Monza... all of which has nothing to do with Kimi I read somewhere that the engine design being "freeze" played right into McLaren's hand, as they focus on reliability last year. erm..doesnt really much advantage given to mclaren but more towards small teams like aguri..as you can see they scored points in Spain..as for reliability, no doubt mclaren improved their reliability but they spent lots of money to make sure its engine is reliable enough last season. As for Ferrari, they engine are always reliable so not much of advantage to mclaren
