QUOTE(david101 @ Jan 26 2007, 01:12 AM) To Socratesman: Are you using PAW or Proxo? If using Proxo what user-agent are you using? I'm using Proxo at the moment and I'm getting 'Torrent not registered with this tracker' errors with private trackers only. I used Privoxy.I set my user-agent to Mozilla/4.0 For fun, I even tried other user-agent like FuxxYouTmnut/1.0, Screamyx/1.0 they also worked. Q: Why do i get a "Unregistered Torrent Pass" error? QUOTE(fubu233 @ Jan 26 2007, 09:17 PM) is the setting in bitcomet suppose to be like this ? some how the star wars is connected even if not using this proxy server thing. but others wont connect. That looks rightQUOTE(durien @ Jan 26 2007, 11:40 PM) I'm using PAW right now and I've done everything as in the instructions in the first page. However, my problem is that I have to restart my utorrent every half an hour or so because after half an hour, the tracker status for my torrents will go from "working" to "proxy connect error: offline (timed out)". After restarting, the status will go back to "working". Any ideas on how to make it work permanently? That's an odd problem. Have you tried leaving utorrent running and see if the error goes away? |

QUOTE(madguy88 @ Jan 24 2007, 06:38 PM) ............ Theres nothing wrong with your BitComet or uTorrent. The problem is TMNet playing the fool with your connection. Setting and re-setting your port. Nothing you can do about it.then Today i notice that my UTorrent download become 100Kbps, |

It is to enable you to connect to the tracker. The only thing that can get you more speed is call up TMNet and say you want subscribe to lease line. That will get you more speed but it costs about RM$10,000/month. The reason you are getting speeds of 0kbp is because you are getting international peers for the file you wanna d/l. Try to d/l a file with lots of local peers to test you connection. You will get very high speeds. This post has been edited by lxwong: Jan 27 2007, 09:29 AM |
