Am I supposed to have this kind of blurring? Or maybe the protective film which I havent removed/dirty windscreen could be causing it? Will be uploading sample vids shortly~

Would you say the oncoming Avanza was going too fast for the camera to read the plate and would a higher-end camera do the job?

I think even the A119 or D201 have this issue... As too fast movement...

Definitely not with the A118C. 720p 60fps looks horrible:

There's a line in the A118C manual which says you should start the car before plugging in the dashcam because if you leave it plugged in and start the engine, the sudden surge of current will damage it over time.

Doesn't seem to make sense to me though... if like that our audio systems will spoil really fast.

Hi blurjoey, last time I helped my friend bought the A118c and tested the time/date setting remains even after more than a week not powering up. The only bad thing for my G1WC is time/date setting will reset if not power up for more than 24 hours.
Would u say it is an 'upgrade' if I switch my G1WC to this model? Any technical spec different for these 2 dashcam?

Is the mount loose and the vibration from the car caused it?

Highly doubt it. Loose mounting would be rattling and vibrating (which I get too in my videos sometimes), but this is some sort of motion sickness/psychedelic thing going on.

Problem with mount not necessarily will give alot of rattling/vibration. Unmount the cam if you can and record see got the same effect or not?
