if i download the firmware and update it, do i need to reconfigure UniFi again? would it be transparent?

How do I get the DDNS to work? just flashed the firmware to asus don't know how to get the ddns to work. for the sake of testing, i have enabled wan access just to see if it works after setting up asus ddns.

Have i missed out some steps?

i've changed the configurations under the "professional" tab for the 5Ghz band. Now, would like to set them back to default. what are the default configurations?

just noticed the admin page shows a reminder stating that the system time zone is different from the locale setting. how do i fix this issue? by the way, the timezone setting is set as under KL, SG

thought am on the only having the problem after flashing to the new 380.66_1, yesterday...once flashed, internet light on the router disappear hence connection to the Internet was out...took a long time just try to get it to boot to recovery mode....

after reflashing the router to the previous asuswrt-merlin firmware, I still have this issue of "system time is different that the locale setting". It is not critical but appreciate if anybody knows how to fix this.

I encountered the same thing when I flashed the firmware to 380.66_1 recently. only the internet light blinked. tried many times just to get to the cfe page. after many tries, when it finally get the cfe page to load, i straight away flashed the firmware. but once it got uploaded, the page just stay blank for a long time, until i had enough.

tried resetting the router until the cfe page was loaded again. now, this is where it made a difference for me, before uploading the firmware, i choose the radio button where the nvram needed to be reset. once reset, tried to upload again the working firmware. lucky for me it went through. if it worked for me, might work for you.

sorry if i didnt make it clear. I failed to get the 380.66_1 firmware to work as well. So, I recovered the router by reflashing to 380.66 firmware.

In order to get the 380.66 firmware to be uploaded successfully again, I did what I did in my earlier post (once I got into the CFE page, I got the NVRAM to be resetted first before uploading the 380.66 firmware). It was a painful experience.

Now, the router runs on 380.66_2 firmware.
