Hi sepulse, thanks for replying.

Mind to elaborate further on 'press the reboot button on ur browser'?

I don't see reboot button because I can't connect to 192.168.1.1 using Chrome or IE.

If you entered the MAC address without the ":", then there's a high chance your router might be bricked.

I suggest you try getting into Emergency Upgrade page again by doing the resetting procedure.
Maybe you can try this:

1. Make sure your router is on.
2. Pull the adapter cable off.  (Don't turn off at the power switch), just pull it off.
3. Make sure your network adapter setting IP is correct.  Ie. IP address 192.168.1.5, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1

4. Start command prompt. Then type:

ping -t 192.168.1.1

5. Then poke the reset button on the huawei router.

6. Plug the cable back in.

7.  Hold the reset button until you see a reply from the ping at command prompt.

8. If you see a reply, then open up Microsoft Edge (if you're using windows 10), and type at the address bar 192.168.1.1
Keep trying this process.

Good luck.

Thank you remeron! I will try again tonight when I reach home. Fingers crossed it can be fixed.

You've bricked your router by not typing the ":" symbol
Send it back to Sri Computers for RMA, if they have stock then you should be able to get a 1-to-1 replacement right away
If not, then you'll have to wait for the normal RMA process

I bought mine via Lazada. So I have to return thru Lazada? Don't think I can proceed RMA at Sri Computers using a Lazada receipt right?
