Looks normal to me biggrin.gif
If you feeling paranoid, you can get a USB fan to blow directly to it

if too hot i want using this custom fan , just order it from taoboa (below RM20) ...too many special thing can do with this router (TM-ac68 u ) than huawei ws 880  rclxs0.gif

I used this kind of setup before, but it will attract a lot of dust where the dust will be stuck on the back of the router and eventually the fans will fall down after some time (unless you apply with super sticky double sided tape)

Currently I am using a 3pin fan adapter to USB and using a 12cm fan to blow directly to the back of the router

What are the special thing can be done?

the temperature shown in side is quite high, what about when feel using hand on the casing front and back, does it feel hot?

i found online the power consumption is quite high for this model compare to my current TP-Link Archer C7.

1) Flash custom firmware
2) Custom hardware mods

When your hand touch the casing, it just feel warm only and yes this model consume a lot of power, that's why it has a C1 revision. But still a solid router despite being high on the temperature

From my previous experience (starting from mobile broadband to Unifi), TP-Link product could not full fill my hunger for performance and stability drool.gif
Even with OpenWRT flash into the TP Link device, the stability really inconsistent. Until I met ASUS and Merlin firmware, my nightmare seems to be over.

Previously owned TP-Link device:
TL-WR1043NDv1
TL-WDR3320v1
MR3020v1
MR3420 v1, v2

Previously owned and still serving ASUS device:
RT-N13U B1
RT-N66U
RT-AC68U
RT-AC86U

Wish to try out Mikrotik but don't have any single clue when comes to picking the right device, configuration and $$$
