Somehow all china ppl is behave like that if not same language. They even hang up your phone if your request and speak language that they dont understand.

Addendum:
Those codes I put in my previous post helps a lot in unlocking the region and also unlock some wireless channel that is previously not available and at the same time increasing the range of the wireless
Previously I can only get 2 bars in the kitchen and 3 bars in the master bedroom (maximum is 4 bars)
Now I get 3 bars in the kitchen and 4 bars in the master bedroom

The TM-AC1900 is originally locked to US region, even after flashing to AsusWRT-Merlin, the region lock still applies
Hence why you need to apply the code above

Make sure to follow every step. Use PuTTY with SSH

My router finally received.

Unfortunately my plug is the US ones. But small matter la. just get converter.

The surface of the Router still has teh sticker sealed. Will peel it once I flash merlin and configure nicely.

Let me contribute for PuTTY and SSH info.

Before you download Putty, make sure your enable Telnet first.

The Telnet function is disabled by default.
You can enable Telnet by the steps below.
[Advanced Settings] -> [Administration] -> [System] -> Enable Telnet -> Click [Apply]

Then only you'll able to PuTTY into it.



Hostname : Router IP 192.168.1.1 default
