my friend bought an E6600 weeks ago and just found out that cpu-z and system properties shows that his proc is an E6800!. is it possible that the manufacture accidently place the chip or is it a bug on windows?

^ he said 4000mhz.. i never asked bout his multiplier.

i think he's bullshitting me..nvm i'll ask bout his cpu-z later.

hv try prime cpu oni 3.6 ghz at 1.46v b4 using sp2004..pass 8hours..then i try blend cpu n ram..also pass 8hours 3.6ghz at 1.46v..but cant screenie the orthos cz when i open asus pc probe suddently its restart 
then try the same setting for 3.7ghz at 1.46v..here the result 

will try go more fsb..hehe mite try 3.8 later

You've got it all wrong.
The 1333FSB processor isn't out on the market yet.

What you see on that Gigabyte stating 1333FSB is that that motherboard supports 1333FSB.
If you have a motherboard that supports 1333MHz while your processor is only 1066MHz, that doesn't make your processor will run on 1333FSB liao...

Your C2D e6300 will still run on 1066MHz not 1333MHz

Intel Core2Duo processors with the 1333MHz FSB isn't out on the market yet.

To really stress your system, try OCCT.

Some other forums said OCCT stresses more than Orthos does. So it might give you error faster if there's any. Personally I will use OCCT to test for CPU, memtest for memory, Orthos when I want to stress it for long.
