Just now i tried can use CL4@DDR1000 for the Asus mobo, so should be same for Biostar cos I didn't up the MCH, so the max i could run it was CL5@DDR975. siauann's Kingston PC4300 can reach 500MHz CL-5, but its Hynix C4 chips. Now hard to find alrdy. I GIVE UP. Impossible to go over 500FSB. Anantech ppl how they go 500FSB asso I don't understand. Both have slower 1M reading, 3.9 and 3.99GHz.
Should be less than 13.5 sec. Try break 4GHz record please.. |

I think i gonna try o'c outside the case. Tried 421x 9, but the setting not stable. Might becoz of temp problem. Hard to cool down the proc, even put extra cooling also wont help much if clock inside the box

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Mar 23 2007, 11:27 AM) err have u found out whats ure max stable fsb U mean ur E6600 can clock at 3.96GHz and ur X6800 @5.225GHz?then also better check ure rams on that same fsb. because rue approaching to nearer to a 1:1 ratio say example 800mhz ram at 400 fsb ... the timings tend to be more sensitive to stability. also hmm i have a theory sometimes depends on proc my experience... e6600 on evga mobo max fsb stable 440 x6800 on evga mobo max fsb stable 475. weird eh?? bro's e6600 L30A on my mobo can do 490 stable... Mind to explain why near 1:1 ratio, the timing will be more sensitive ? |

Wht temp monitor software u using? TAT?
For E6600 2.4GHz is 47-49C, using TT Big typhoon. 51C is quite normal, maybe u running some light prog or online during tht time? This post has been edited by yehlai: Mar 24 2007, 01:57 AM |

QUOTE(cablesguy @ Mar 24 2007, 02:20 AM) not so sure but E6600 @ stock 47-49c is hot right? coz i use to average around 38 - 40c on idle using btvx and infinity, now cant get those temps anymore using asus commando and tuniq TAT reading or BIOS?? can be tht low?? I think wont be too much diff at stock. Becoz using 1.325v or less. |
