QUOTE(bbgoat @ Oct 22 2016, 05:30 PM) Holy shxx, that is when I need to buy again ! But now have to buy some AUD. So Ms, I am going there earlier than u in Nov. Last time AUD touch 3.0 and retreat. Now saw 3.18 ! Yeah,... I noticed the AUD has been strengthening vs the MYR too,... probably it's the MYR dropping badly against the AUD. When the MYR strengthens, we should see AUDMYR going back down again. Hopefully back to 3.0X,....

QUOTE(bbgoat @ Oct 22 2016, 06:55 PM) The way RM drop, rise then drops again made one's heart drop also. I suspect there will be a short spike n the strength of the MYR on Monday and Tuesday. The same thing happened last year after the Budget speech. I remembered I got to change quite a lot of the MYR into the SGD then,... But don't know this time,....will it be the same,... the only thing we can do is to standby on MOnday,....

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Oct 22 2016, 08:16 PM) Care to ensure explain why singapore is not good for long term? Bro,... we just need to look back at the last 5 years of the AUD and the SGD compared against the MYR respectively,.. we can tell easily which currency, SGD or AUD has appreciated more against the MYR. 1) SGD vs MYR : http://finance.yahoo.com/chart/SGDMYR%3DX#...jp0cnVlfQ%3D%3D2) AUD vs MYR : http://finance.yahoo.com/chart/AUDMYR%3DX#...jp0cnVlfQ%3D%3DThe graphs speak fro themselves,... but, well, let Aroma give her points too,....maybe we missed something, maybe SG does have some problems,...

I recalled from experience in the last budget ann't last year, the MYR IMMEDIATELY strengthened on that Saturday following the ann't by the PM.
I kept looking at the rates yesterday and today,... looks like the MYR DID NOT behave in the same way this time, ie did not strengthen over the weekend,...
May strengthen tomorrow and Tuesday ??

Edited by adding : I think I may have a way to know earlier tomorrow,.... if, early tomorrow morning, the signs say the MYR will strengthen, then can start going to the bank already,... 2) MYR started to strengthen against the USD from 4.1850 to 4.1776, FROM ONE HR AGO.

As we speak,...
1) USDMYR = 4.1823, 'jumped' back up momentarily,...
2) AUDMYR = 3.1764, more than 100 bps lower than last Friday close,....
Money-changers would be starting to release their quotes soon,.. Frankly, for this morning, my experience tells me they won't give anything different from what they gave last Friday..
I am open to correction,... please, any bro or sis observed differently, let me know..
