Called UOB & OCBC RM. They offered rate better than their published rate. UOB comes very close to CB rate. Just very tiny difference with CB. So still CB better. And free TT, no TT fees for Citigold customer.

What does free TT mean ? You get to do TTs to a third party account in another country in a different bank without charges ? Or is this free TT only for CB to CB account transfers ?

Telegraphic transfer. Anyway TT charges not a big amount. Free TT for Citigold customer only, can send to anyone in other countries's bank acct.

not really.

it's usd falling after poor economic data last night.

markets now factoring in <50% for rate hike by year end.

every currency is up >0.5% against usd today.

taiwan $ and korean won big gainers, >1% gain.

same old factors - oil, rate hike, economy... for the $.

From this morning till now 4.0445, they have not adjusted it down after the RM appreciated this morning.
