1.) Can we open CDS(Non nominee) with Maybank?

2.) When we do sell shares, let's say 1000 units,we do get paid immediately or we have to wait for buyer?

Thank you.

1) Yes; there two type branch office. you cant cross open CDS type at different type.

2) When you buy or sell only success when your transaction is match with someone. When buy or sell als T+3 to clear the transaction.

So basically selling shares when the price goes up doesnt mean we will get profit(provided that we have included broker fee/tax/etc) unless there are buyer for the share,am I rght?

Assume if we sell on day 1 200shares at the price RM5.00,but we manage only to sell 100shares instead of 200shares,what will be the selling price on day 2 if the price at day 2 is RM4?Will we be selling at day 1 or day 2 price?

if u sell today rm5 100 shares, u left 100 shares, u sell tomorrow at rm4

ur profit is rm5 and rm4

Better to open a DIRECT CDS account, will receive e-dividend directly, can apply IPO and attend AGM.

open a Direct CDS or Nominee CDS

You cant cross open different CDS at the same branch.

Not mistaken Equity Investment Center only can open Nominee CDS.
