I've spent more than RM30k alone on electronics and gadgets from 11street over the past 3 months including TVs, iPhones, AV receivers etc and I have faced no issues whatsoever.

Rule of thumb is always check out a seller's ratings and feedbacks first before purchasing.

Thanks for your replied message.

I'm confused with the online offering prices.

Currently, I found a seller in Lazada, high rated seller, offers a Sony headphone with 2 different prices, same model but different in color.

The red color sells RM550 and the grey color sells RM480. Both of them are RM688 in original price by Sony Malaysia.

I can't understand - is it, they have too many stocks of the greater discounted item?

grey color is common color... you can find it everywhere... while red they might tag it special/rare/hard to find color hence the price. its normal in our market. you can see this style of pricing in a lot of item.

Haha, move to new house so everything change/upgrade.

But I've been surveying for the things I wanted for quite some time including the electrical chain stores and typically they are not able to offer as low as what the online selling platforms like Lazada, 11street, GEMFIVE etc. do due to a certain amount of subsidies these platforms offer sellers from time to time.

Example: Senheng stores sells a TV for 10k in their stores but when you check the price on 11street the price of the TV sold and fulfilled by Senheng as well could be less say for example 9k. If you want that TV from Senheng and you walk in their stores they won't sell to you the TV at 9k. If you want it at 9k you gotta get it through 11street even though its still Senheng selling the item. The 1k is subsidized by 11street. Easiest way to know with 11street is after buying the item, the tax invoice issued, the price stated is usually higher than what you paid for. The missing balance is the subsidized amount by 11street.

Only home furnishing and renovation fairs like HomeDec and BigHomeExpo are able to rival online selling platform prices as far as electronics go especially TVs.

Not much to complain, received delivery on the 2nd or 3rd day after payment completed-no issue so far. Delivery by Gdex. Of cause you need to check with them through whatsapp before making any payment to them. Do PM me if you need their contact.

9 years ago I bought my plasmaTV by going straight to small electrical shop near my house. The model I want was not on display but the owner said as reseller they can order easily and sell me cheaper than retail price. To save on cost, he said pay cash is better than CC. E.g if I recall correctly the RRP is RM4,899. I paid RM3,900 cash.

That time, online marketplace like Lazada doesn't exist yet. That 42" TV still serving me well until today
