Question is, where will this 'covered walkway' start and end?
Coz I know that there is already an existing covered walkway starting from the bus stop in front of the shophouses where 99 Speedmart is located all the way up to that exit ramp from the Jln Syed Putra/Fed. Highway (towards OKR, Salak highway and PJ direction). It's been there long before Setia Sky Seputeh and this project even started construction.
I recall parking my car around there at one time to walk to MidValley. That Jln Taman Seputeh 1 is still a relatively quiet road, but that direct ramp/access road going into MidValley isn't that safe. The cars entering and exiting via that latter road tend to drive pretty fast. Makes you wonder why this developer didn't try to build another entry/exit connecting to that road, but if one of the requirements is to get approval from those terrace houses and Sri Seputeh condo folks, then that's going to be a challenge. Judging by the way how the potted plants are placed on the side of that walkway, my bet is that they'll most likely throw a fit if this were to happen.
I believe it's going to be quite similar to Setia Sky Seputeh where their covered walkway only extends up to the small road which goes to the shophouses where 99 Speedmart is. I only see two options to go to MidValley, which is via crossing that dangerous ramp or using that existing covered walkway in front of 99 Speedmart. The latter may be a longer (walking) journey for those residing in this project, but at least it'll save you a trip to the emergency room.
I did raise the same concern(dangerous crossing) of you and according to the SA, EUPE will be building overhead bridge connecting the new covered walkaway to the existing one.
However I think EUPE should have considered building the covered walkaway along jalan syed putra, shorter and more convenience.

Yes . You need to do the u turn at Taman Desa. Selling as so call right beside MV but those living at OKR will reach faster than you. 😅
Why drive if you can just walk? Even if you really wanted to drive, yeah you reach earlier but going back home who reach earlier? Its always two sides of a coin.

My pov is “beside” doesn’t mean good. There is one project call H@vre at BJ, is literally right beside Pavillion 2. Same row. Just tell people you stay beside Pavillion , everyone will wow!
But the project haven’t sell finish even after VP for years . It’s memang right beside but the access is super inconvenient. The entrance connects directly to the highway without tertiary road(Taman road) . Just imagine the hassle you need to buy a loft of bread . They even provide a “covered” walk way, but you try notice see siapa jalan go Pavillion2.
As for est8, the entrance gave the similar vibe too. As I posted earlier , ppl in Taman Desa or okr reaches MV faster than est8, so what’s the point liao? Some agent above replied 2 sides of coin la, back home see who faster , tengok also gelak.
But don’t worry bro, most of the kl houses can be rented out one. Just maybe not as good as expected .
