Redline - the racing rig design is superb - one piece design, adjustable height on the steering wheel and the keyboard/mouse tray.  make sure the keyboard tray clearance ok not to hit the wheel or the perut later lol
- u might want to make the pedal tray adjustable somehow, maybe ur kiddo want to try (or u dont want them to try em?? lol)
-  the lcd tray looks a little tiny to mount your precious LCD display, unless u intend to bolt em on.

my h-shifter now is on the right, if i move to the left a little difficult for me to get in and out of the seat (i really dun use em now though - but can be a good backup if something happens to my paddle shifters during race)

alot of trial and error and changes when designing the cockpit, that is engineering.  like race cars constantly changing in aerodynamic design for that tenths
luckily my pit limiter wiring when bad during qualifying - if in the race, i'll be racing with pit limiter on lol.  i need to look for a more robust wires - my pit limiter button was on the steering wheel n the wire broke.
*
will work something on the adjustable pedal mounting, maybe with front stopper also, the existing one might giving a problem of the movement after kicking the throttle/brake & clutch.

the LCD base will have the clamper.

also will think to make the steering wheel holder adjustable sliding left & right.

and also thinking the easy way to assemble/dissemble.

any other material recommended beside alloy/carbon steel pipe?

thx for the feedback, thats the engineering.

Yup true Manual clutch is the way man. You can modulate the traction better. I was too tense on the start hence the mistake. I'm screaming for the tyres to stop spinning, press the clutch a bit but too late already. Next time I will do a schumi, start the car a lil' skewed to one direction and slams the door on Madnoren laugh.gif hhihihih

That's what we want to see.
Masters go head to head rclxm9.gif
Just make sure it's legitimate.
Not the one Schumi did to Hill in 1994 tongue.gif

Eh...those clutch thingy.
Works like real life?
1st gear...if release it too early...engine died.
Then need to push clutch each time we change gear.

me F3 too!!!

manual clutch was my no secret in F3 league last year, always manage to jump at least 2 cars on start. but then that 1-2 higher qualified cars i jumped did not get there by accident, they are quick and very hard to hold behind. at least it makes the start video replay more exciting lol

but this season (and prev GTR2) i fumbled so far on using manual clutch on start. btw i dun think u can stall the car unless u are on full manual clutch.

raikko - the usb controller i am using for my wheel got 8 axes, 32 buttons - now am using 4 axes only - 1xsteering, 1xgas, 1xbrake, 1xclutch. balance got 4 axes unused - maybe build a handbrake(??). my h-shifter electonics is from a cheap rockfire usb gamepad.

but my wheel no FF (force feedback) lar - no commercial value. and not a commercial viable project too.

Raikkonen, the F3 cars is already in the game when you install rFactor. Its in the Open Wheel Challenge (the same as the F1 Sauber cars).

Last nite was a giggle practising online. Mr. izzNatta hosted the game where he set up the game where V8 cars and F3 cars can run side by side. Soze and izzNatta chose V8 and I picked F3. First of, the F3, thanks to its adjustable front and rear wings is more grippy around Birmingham. But the V8 had more grunt and more top speed. So I was able to catch up to the guys in V8 in corners but it is a bit hard in the straight. It was frightening too while I was overtaking izzNatta, because I was so low and he could see me in the mirrors tongue.gif

Since we are only weeks away from our F1 league, so whats your take on the race distance? 100 % race distance with normal tire wear and fuel usage? 75 % race distance? or we keep our current format; 1 hour race with x2 tire wear and fuel usage?
