dun start with F1 league, we start with the slower cars first, then we can build the excitement in the career progress

definitely hoping to getback to rfactor asap after the missed races in GTR2 due to connection problemo

i'd vote for open wheel racing, Formula BMW or Renault (with custom liveries), love to see my front tyres, good view of track and other cars around

crazy test race last night!!

the AI were slow when they were racing each other - my car flipped n rolled trying to overtake them - surprisingly i can still continue

sorry pitt - bump into u trying to take the inside line but understeered, fortunately u did not suffered - i did spun

all in all - really need to learn how to control this v8 beast


btw for rfactor i completely turn off my my zonelabs zone alarm for it to work(??)

tips #1 - qualifying dun over lap than allowed - u will get DQ. if u get instruction to pit do so n dun complete another lap

tips #2 - dun forget formation lap. so 15 laps race make sure u have at least 16 laps of fuel

tips #3 - racing at adelaide - dun get distracted by the animated billboards!

alamak tak bole join lagi, wheel aku ranap lagi last week lol - anak buah aku main siap pusing 2-3 kali abis spring n wiring putus. wheel design 360-400 degrees only, dia bantai macam steering wheel kete betul nyer (kalu G25 ok lar 900 degrees ready). silap aku gak tak warn awal2, n takde stopper.
spring dah tukar tp wiring needs resoldering.

apa panggil abang ni? aku takder la tua sgt cam abg Ron kita lol (peace Ron - respect)

my wheel is good now - redesigned the on wheel switches, bigger and added 2 more = (+ 2 paddle shifters = 8)
[those switches aluminum plates are made of maxtor hd cover btw]

2 more weeks to V8 league [maybe shud add new separate thread for the FSR league??]

rFactor ni byk sgt track versions and mods - even in our small community payah nak keep track apa mod n track to race for the week - aku pun dah lost apa mod korang tgh main lately

TQ TQ in advance- my time is terrible sebab banyak makan itu fasir. Kalu tak silap V8 ni setting brake more in the front, and maybe less steering ?? spin saja???

saya pun tak kisah - GTR2 league last season i have to switched to bonnet view for a few races due to technical problem in cockpit view

to think of it maybe i'll use bonnet view as well in this coming V8 league?? i wish the bonnet view camera is a little lower though

btw pitt kalu steering moving cam cartoon, u can opt to not see the steering wheel in options. i do this in gtr2 n rfactor - feel weird looking at 2 wheels and another set of arms - prefere to see my own arm and wheel only - lagi pun steering wheel aku lawa lol

dun give up, im struggling too, need more practice time (which i dun have)

short stint last night, softened rear spring, longer gear ratio, only 2:14 - still slow, need to dedicate time to handle this v8 beast

dunno lar but i think need to use the brake effectively to turn the car??

im doing practice now - cannot go below 2.13

anyone knows what is the optimum temp of the V8 tyres - what about the pressure? thx in advance

edit: ok now can go 2:12:0, a little push sure can go to 2:11, but not fast enuff. have to stop practice now, but will join u guys tonite for test

good test race last night, basically two packs - the front runners (4) and the back runners (3), good racing both front and back

redline pitted early (problem?) but still managed to catch up with the front runners, and the fastest lap.

lack of pace, im losing too much time somewhere ?? - thx for the setup Marra - setup is too nervous for me, n have not put enuff time in it. Had to go back to my own setup for the race, conservative, but can still be happy to bring the car back home, no spins, just some offs.





edit: btw last night race i used bonnet view - i think i'll be using bonnet view for remaining races. am going to try diff FOV in cockpit view too

default setup front camber 5.0 degrees ok ker? feel like tyre getting too hot over 100. at Sepang i changed to bout 3 or less front and bout 1.5 at the back - more even tyre temperature

i think im too slow at turn 11, clueless getting the right line, entry - gear and speed.
