Ok new design for those with bulky monitor and using exsiting table (like myself) the table height is 30" +/-





notice the pedal holder is higher then the previous one (tin car cockpit).
This is to serve as cockpit and workpit without costing and arm

No money to buy lcd looo..... The monitor that shown is 21" sony-dell. And the size is same as the actual one.

Same here

15" LCD = RM1K++
21" CRT = Less than RM1K
I go for the 21".

Hard to resist the steel cockpit.
But strictly for racing and cannot do any typing

old 1998 15" HP monitor

Don't know where to send for repairs.

19" 5ms wide screen lcd cost around RM850++ la bro...
That why i prefer the table + seat & pedal. Suitable for my work, CSS & CNC3

wow project cockpit sudah start - well done on the drawings.

as per Madnor comment, better raise the seat a little so that it is easier to get in and out (aka spare tyre factor lol) - if necessary raise the pedals holder to fit the elevated seat.

i'd advise everything to be attached together, seat, pedal and wheel. if independent, during intense racing, ur seat might start moving etc. n u'll lose concentration and comfort.
if u can make the seat adjustable can suit to different size driver - mine is fixed for my size, i.e. the seat is fixed, wheel is fixed, but my pedal is adjustable.
dah alang2 tu design sekali la keyboard holder and side table for mouse.

btw im using benq 19" wide, native reso 1440x900. if u go for bigger size make sure ur hardware can keep up (ala nak upgrade karom kan ada)

this one happen @ brands hatch i think small track one..
hope it wont happen in our race this sunday




btw sudah test run F1X06 (v8 cars)...
handling better than CTDP2005..even with default setup..each car different sound (love when dropping gear)..
all car hav same power..so far...din try all car
in modelling CTDP better..all team color looks dull, n Mclaren too shiny
tested 3 cars, Mclaren/Renault/Ferrari
but too bad to who using ferarris..side mirror jauh sgt ..kena main toleh2
