Actually e-pay is not a bad idea though cannot pay bills with credit cards but can reload mobile phone with credit cards. http://www.e-pay.com.my/Also, it has Grab reload, since CIMB CR doesn't give cash back for Grab anymore, I think can buy and get cash back from using the online e-pay. I will still prefer to buy mobile reloads from Lazada as I still can get cash back plus free Lazada vouchers for next purchase. Just giving you guys another alternative.

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Sep 28 2016, 11:17 PM) Wow, didn't know epay was so extensive! For mobile reloads my fave combo is Shopback + Lazada + online cashback card. That's my combination too.

QUOTE(tee_ys @ Sep 28 2016, 11:54 PM) The free Lazada vouchers can be used for next mobile reloads? Nope. Mobile reloads can no longer use vouchers. Use for other purchases.

QUOTE(edwardccg @ Sep 29 2016, 09:52 PM) oh, didnt know that maximum can only have 2 supp. my current CL is RM5000, still ok to sustain 2 x RM1800 online purchase for 20-50 days period Two for CIMB CR. It is better if you could check with CS. I could be wrong. I just referred to first post that shows the maximum cash back with supplementary cards. My CL is still more than RM 20k. Maybe I will need to call to reduce as well. This post has been edited by fruitie: Sep 29 2016, 09:57 PM

QUOTE(muscaa @ Sep 30 2016, 06:44 AM) I have tried to pay only the outstanding balance (after cashback) for CIMB credit card, so far no problem. Statement date is on 28th, cashback will only come in on 29th So many reported cases with financial charges. I suggest you to stop doing this. Just pay according to statement balance.

QUOTE(muscaa @ Sep 30 2016, 01:18 PM) so far no problem with the payment of outstanding balance only after cash back. Obviously the bank would love you paying in full Well, many also said no problem earlier and paid for many months then one fine day got slapped with financial charges. Well, up to you to listen or not, it's your choice. However, we will never suggest others to pay after deduction. CIMB is one of the banks which doesn't recognize cash back as a payment. Anyway, geram aku. Posted on 29th. There goes my quota, overshot by RM 300 for new cycle when I already used up all for PosOnline and last month's quota didn't maximize... QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Sep 30 2016, 03:18 PM) I was thinking the same thing, then I went to read the CIMB CR T&C and FAQ and doesn't look like there's any limitation on Supp Cards! I think when I first applied, I saw Item 7 of the FAQ and automatically (incorrectly) assumed that we can only apply for 2. Now looks like we can apply for more!!! Woohoo. OK, I will only apply additional if YOLO doesn't work. Else, it will be sufficient with just 2 supp + 1 principal.

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Sep 30 2016, 03:26 PM) I'm filling up 2 more forms as I type this hahaha. My AEON BT instalments each month are 6k, so I need A LOT of online cashback cards to help with this. Every little bit counts. Now have to find some willing family members to help me. I don't have super huge spending every month and I'm trying to reduce it. One of the ways is to cut down my cards, so if banks reduce benefits, it could be a good thing for me. Anyway, I will apply another one supp to make it 2+1. Already got confirmation from my dad. I assume no age limit for supplementary right? He is 68 now.

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Oct 1 2016, 08:49 AM) you will have no issue if you don't spend anything the following statement date - then you pay outstanding balance. issue will arise if you spend on the following statement date. Well, I don't deny too some got through from CIMB, not sure how they determine. Anyway, some only got charged after some time. For me, I will not take the risk and will not suggest others to do it.

QUOTE(minthiam @ Oct 1 2016, 09:49 PM) Wow, CIMB is being absolutely ridiculous. I was slapped a finance charges of RM6.43 on my latest statement. Statement Balance on 28 Aug: RM 522.58 Cash Rebate on 29 Aug: RM 26.13 Payment on 15 Sep (Payment due is 17 Sep): RM 496.45 Finance Charges on 28 Sep: RM6.43 Does anyone know how they calculate the finance charges? Charging RM6.43 for a short of RM26.13 is like imposing a finance charges of 24.6% per month. WTH? I tried to call their call center to ask about how they derived RM6.43 and they put me on hold for 30 minutes as they told me it's too complicated to calculate and will need more time They promised to call me back within 2 hours and i am still waiting! That's quite high ya. Sorry but I'm not sure how do banks calculate interest. Maybe you can share with us after they share the calculation with you. muscaa, you gotta be careful. Just a friendly reminder.

QUOTE(minthiam @ Oct 1 2016, 11:00 PM) Wow, they called me back and tell me all the nonsense like they are charging 1.25% interest per month on whatever amounts that i spent after the short (not 1.25% on the amount that i short!). I haven't heard of this before and ask them to show me the calculations and they told me it's too complicated to calculate but they will send me the formula and asking me to do my own calculation. This is really stupid! A bank with state of the art facility not able to justify and share with the customer on how they derived the RM6.43 late charges? After i raised my voice, they promised to get their finance department to recalculate and share with me the calculation formula by the next 3 working days, the earliest I believe charymsylyn already explained earlier.
