I guess the F in Ftuned stands for fuck cuz they really bend you over by selling you something which wasn't according to what you were expecting, and then proceeded to claim that it's the car's issue, not theirs. They could have informed you on this or manage expectations before proceeding too

Damn the YouTube shown they consist of ex proton engineer working under them.

Hi guys, want to know your opinion.

Recently i just change from std rim to tc105n (saga facelift 2020) and installed ftuned spring sport.

I noticed that my front car is higher than rear (3 jari depan, 2 jari blkg)

I'm using my old tyre 185/55 at my new rim. Will changing to new tyre size 195/50 front, 195/55 rear solve my car height problem?
*
long time ago, i upgrade my old waja to pro-ride sport absorber + spring. absorber in yellow while spring in red colour. it not adjustable but more to sport and lowered my old waja. reason choose it, PRICE. Rm650 get 4 pcs new sport absorber and 4 pcs sport spring. 2nd due to ori absorber of Waja, iinm brand Kayaba keep rosak right within a year, the warranty was 6 month.

it makes the car look nice, lowered, and not too harsh. again, the reason I choose is due to price.

Hey guys, im using Toyo proxes cr1 245/40 r18 on my audi a4 but feels bouncy. Prior to this i was using PS4. I thought it was my suspension that gave way but if fixing it, car still feels bouncy. Could it be other parts or is because cr1 is too hard or soft? Thx
*
weird cz when I was with ps4, 235/45/18, I felt it harsh under it. was told Ps4 really that way. problem with ps4 on my car, it keeps blistering at tire surface as ps3 as well after certain mileage and botak starting at the side doesn't matter how I take car of it by sending to alignment properly every 15k km.

Shop I asked recommend Giti Comfort.

And what size is recommend for 16 7jj et38?
*
The Michelin xm2 tyre are quite soft and very quiet. But don't expect it grip as UHP tyre

Thanks for the advices, it's very helpful. Anyway I just changed to PS4 yesterday! As previously all the votes including PMed to lowyat member go to PS4, so I ended up taking the safe path.

I noticed I don't really take hard corners so if this is the case Primacy may works for me too.

Probably will consider Primacy again when my PS4 worn out 2 to 3 years later.
*
Best to assume u can get max around 50k km on ps4. It excel on heavy rain condition. U will notice if u come from any other tyre brand. Dry for me similar to others, but on rain, this tyre grip. But dont drive too fast.

Haha ok, thx for the advise. Yeah usually rain I keep my speed below 110km, or even slower if visibility is extremely low.  biggrin.gif

btw just to share where I changed it: Weng Heng Bukit Kemuning, 1 piece @ RM565 (225/45/R18). He also quoted me Primacy @RM465-485 (or similar, I forgot the exact). Free alignment and Balancing cost RM50.

Pretty good deal thx to Lowyat forum. in fact I recalled I been here many years back for my Myvi's XM2.
*
Almost similar price but at Oscar Bukit Kemuning as well. 235/45/18 around your price, ps4

MC5 were good at wet grip and braking.

Thats Long distance travel mate. Good to hear your comment sifu.
*
Unfortunately the mc5 is a well known as poor tyre. Try getting mc6 or Michelin ps3/ps4 for better tyre all around

with some many ppl worshipping Michelin PS4, wonder if they assign to drive a car without knowing the brand, would they say the same?
*
on dry not so much unless drive fast in the corner. but on rain, heavy wet road, u will find the difference on PS4 vs some cheap tire. In my case, the cheap tire or worn-out tire keeps flashing the ESC while on very heavy rain at some speed.

How you drive and what car you fitting in the tires?
If always full throttle and go in corners like nothing at high speed, any tires also gg very fast.

office car CW Achilles ATR Sport 2, mileage already hit 25k km, the thread still looks as new. Grip almost none at wet rain, need to slow down.

u are right
me have same issue with Michelin, at first thought the tyres are bad
but, I figured as long as it maintain good grip until botak, is better than tyre looking good but start losing grip gradually
now I live with it
*
i read somewhere, Michelin informed that their tyre still work great until the tyre indicator is hit. so safe u say it still works well even look botak.

gotta be a user to believe it
also it's pricier, but in my limited experience the mileage and grip all the way until end of tyre life is worth it
*
In my experience, if u get to Oscar Bukit Kemuning shop, the price is affordable to get PS3, PS4 tire. rm590 ps4 235/45/18 in my case

Looking to change the stock Toyo AT tires to MT type for my Hilux. Any recommendation on good China brands? tyre size 265/70 R17

was recommended Sunwide ,LEAO for Rm500/pc & Roadmarch for Rm650/pc...... Maxxis one cost about 700++ & Falken 800++

I'm in Sarawak so the price is higher than Peninsular definitely.
*
saw this ad tyre brand windforce catchfors uhp. Traction AA while groove design kinda the Michelin ps3. No idea if it is good, haven't tried or had a review online.

Hi all, roughly how much do shops charge for (expert) tire inspection - to decide if right time to change or not? I live in KL.
*
Check the centre tyre indicator or how long is the tyre already? Max 2 years recommended to change

hey what happen if I change my tyres to 225/45/18 ? right now using 225/40/18.

how about in terms of performance? and what tyre pressure should i use? is it same as written at the gas cap?

seems like 45 tyre choice much better than 40.
*
stock suspension set up or tuned/sport suspension? if stock no issue to hit the car body when run fast at bumper for instance

hankook now increased price by a lot, prime 3 (k125) is the replacement for v12 evo2, it cost around 300-330 per donut for 225/45/17, S1 evo3 (K127) is UHP around RM50 per donut more expensive than prime 3

last year i still managed to get prime 3 at rm275 per donut for 225/40/18, now is like RM350-380

unless you willing to try china, thailand or indonesia tyres, which you can still get them at cheap price, most of the mainstream brand price increased a lot lately sad.gif

you can look for Westlake SA37 or rovelo A1 sport, but i have not tried these tyres before, but westlake review seems not bad, rovelo A1 is like prime 3, as long as you not high power car should be okay to use
*
for me i prefer to go shop which give good price. Based on experience, Oscar Bukit Kemuning give me really good price. I had PS4 235/45/18 less than rm600 (around RM580 iinm) per pcs while Kajang Tyre shop give me RM800 per donut. Check already the manufacturing date, it is very new back then. That price gives me a go-to PS4 from the old PS3 which suprise me can tahan until 80k km. Maybe I drove relatively easygoing since had kids.

how to avoid Hydroplaning or skidding when raining..even just replaced new tyre still got this issue ..very dangerous especially near toll got sign below tar road "RFID" very licin there
*
what is your tire brand? I had skidded on an unknown brand tire even at 3 months old usage, Zeetex brand model hp102 iirc. The thread is deep but my car skid during heavy rain at grand saga highway at 60kmh, it just slides from right lane to the left at relatively low speed.

straight change the tyre to Hankook for the car months after.

Wondering why nobody talk about Falken ZE310?
Is this tyre good?
*
had aimed the Falken fk510 due to Traction AA, good review, supposedly best bang for money vs PS3, PS4 from Michelin. However, the model only had good price during early introduction time, after that, not most shop had this model or brand, need to order and generally same or higher price than a PS4. Repeat back the PS4 due to grip, long life (depend on user), and Price if get at a good shop.

fk510 or s1e3... mc6 is not same par with the other 2...

i changed my s1e3 after call the number 13th hankook master in KV list.. u can try to call and check
*
agree with this. even on FB got many real user experiences on this tire. only those YouTubers (get free tyre kot) praise this model to the moon. in short, this mc6 is only ok at dry but poor at rain/ heavy rain. it is an improvement from the poor MC5, but not to the level of the great tire like ps3, ps4. another cons, this model only sold here in our market only, not found elsewhere.
