Hi all, I would like to purchase a 2nd car for my wife for fetch my kids from school. I'm thinking of car that easy to maintain and with good fuel efficiency.

1. Brand - Don't care as long as meet its purpose.
2. Budget - 10K - 15K.
3. New/Used/Unreg. - Used
4. Specs - 1.5 cc below
5. Transmission. - Automatic
6. NA or FI ? NA
7. Type. Hatchback
8. Remarks. - Prefer smaller car for my wife to drive easy to manouvre. I did search some of Malaysian brand car, Like Perodua and Proton. But I might open up for other brand like conti car but afraid the maintenance cost very high. One of the car that i research is mercedes benz A170. However I saw online, not many people using it. And afraid I I purchase it end up at workshop.

They have alot of variance. Im also confuse with the naming scheme. start from 1.5 cc Petrol, 1.7 cc Petrol, 2.0 cc Petrol, 2.0 cc Turbo Petrol & 2.0 cc Turbo Diesel. I saw at mudah and did research on youtube. Why this model so cheap. One of the reason is its not pass the "elk" test because of the tall and short wheelbase. They stop produce this model and introduce the AMG A-Class as we know today.

I in dilemma between buying Perodua Bezza or Proton Saga MC3. My previous car is Nissan Almera N17, recently I just sold it. And at my house I have Perodua Ativa, serve purpose as my wife daily drive. And a weekend car. Im currently looking for daily drive car, from point a to point b. i did my test drive last week, when i drove perodua bezza i feel like its really small for myself (173 cm height and 100kg weight). but when i test drive proton saga, the size is okay for me and the comfort while driving. To be frank, considering this car i will use daily and paying for the next 9 years. If I take new proton saga mc3, it will be much better and future proof. but on the other hand, if I pick perodua bezza. sacrificing comfort. I will save lot more money on fuel consumption. and also proven maintenance records (which is way much cheaper than proton). the only concern for me is, proton saga offered 1.5 engine in a segment sedan which is very tempting for me coming from nissan almera n17 with 1.5 engine.

Hahahah think bout diet as well. Maybe I should consider that, tbh the saga just recently release. so we still dont know yet the issues.

Maybe the most kosong variant if i want bang for bucks, bezza 1.0 g? considering myself only travel alone, from klang to kl. and weekend i have other car.
