Hi sifus, thinking of buying a 2012 Nissan Sylphy at about 33k-ish. Your opinions would be appreciated

Any comments on this model and year? I heard the 2010/2011 model got gear box problem right?

Any used car dealer can recommend who is trustworthy? Don't want janji dicapati kinda dealer promise you accident free all no tampering then last minute find out the car is ready to fall apart.

Any advice on buying used cars would be helpful. Thank you!!

if the budget is not a concern, go for top spec.

if budget is a concern.... suggest downgrade to C seg.

Base spec for accord isn't good on FC because of weight and underpower...

However civic although problem with their turbo... but their fc is better than 2.0 NA accord.

after read a few reviews, the 2.0 seems to be more value for money. but questions linger on my mind

a) is 2.0 under powered?
b) honda sensing really worth it?
c) fuel consumption?

use it for daily commute to work and weekend with family (wife and 2 primary school kids)

Currently having bezza and looking around for new/used car around 80k+-;

1) new - Toyota Vios (with rebate up to 9.2k with 5 years warranty)
2) used - Nissan X-Trail 2017/2018 with 1 year warranty
3) used - Subaru Forester 2017/2018 with 1 year warranty

Never have experience on used car before, would it be advisable to own an used car in terms of maintenance?

I'm in the market for a car (for work purposes), and people have been recommending the Honda City to me. Questions:

a. for those sifus with experience, would you recommend this car to me? I'm a newbie (just got my P license last month lol) so what attracted me to this model is the ease of use (reportedly) and safety features.

b. Carsome is offering a secondhand one for RM70k, and a new V-Sensing one is RM94k. Carsome has a one year warranty, new five. Which one would have better value for money?

Hey guys, I could use some advice. I want to buy a secondhand car.

Last month I changed jobs and it pays well enough I feel I am ready for my first car. However, since I only started last month, I only have one month's payslip with the current workplace (while all banks want three). Is there a way I can still take out a car loan or do I have to wait for another two months?

I am not a new graduate (so I won't qualify for those schemes), and I'd rather not have my parents act as guarantors. However I can pay up to RM15k for down payment.

Any advice would be appreciated.

or just buy new? as mazda got 5 year free service & warranty

Just bought 2015 mazda 3 sedan high spec low mileage ( serviced by bermaz ) for 66k. Worth every penny
Just need to topup 8k for atf,cabin and air filter, rear brake pads, fan belt tensioner and full set of suspension. Feels like a new car right now.
