BMW > Merc > Lexus = sorted by "burn a hole in pocket" criteria
i dun even know what biz to do.
IMHO, BMW cars looks more sporty compared to Merc vis a vis , but Merc is more lasting & cheaper on parts, Toyota is a JDM, you cant compared a durian with an apple bro...........different league
For your case, better get employed by some one than being self employed.................
Hi guys.. im looking for a used car good for 4 person (maybe B-segment or C-segment) - used car - 4 seater - auto transmission - toyota/honda/nissan(which one more reliable? or can recommend a more reliable make)
my budget is around RM30+k... can stretch to RM40+k with good reasons (may be newer model more reliable.. etc.)
if lower than budget also good (im willing to spend abit more, for less headache is the main reason..) i'd like to add, i prioritise: 1. reliability (dont want to spend my whole life in workshop) 2. FC (poor la) 3. low maintenance (very pooor ) 4. looks nice abit la or can just narrow down betweenvios/city/latio considering also (not sure)inspira/vw polo/fiesta/honda insight/almera/chevrolet cruze
idk where to start was hoping any sifu here can help recommend a car
1. Brand: Any, but preferably Japanese 2. Budget: RM100k max. 3. New/Used/Unreg: Any 4. Specs: Any 5. Transmission: Manual with clutch pedal 6. NA or FI : Any, but preferably NA 7. Type: Hatchback, Sedan, or Coupe. In such order. 8. Remarks: Fun to drive car, not older than 2010
Hi all,
I'm looking for a fun to drive car not older than 2010. With good reliability and some practicality. Currently the list on my mind as below, :
1. Suzuki Swift Sport ZC32S 2. Ford Fiesta ST 3. Peugeot 208 GTi
Do share if you know of any other car fit the bill.
How reliable is the Fiesta ST and 208 GTi? Are they expensive to maintain, do share some example.
before 2006 i325 is actually a 2.5 after 2007 i325 is actually a detuned 3.0
Visual inspection seems fine
When you go see the car make sure: 1. No xmas tree dashboard when you turn on the car 2. All the buttons work, ALL OF IT 3. Make sure tires has lots of life left in it, replacements aren't cheap 4. Best if service has just been done, you're looking at RM400 over at minimum per visit
Most jelly wont think you are showy cause they themselves are against your preference, hence haters will be haters
Once you drive a beemer, you wont want to drive other cars............the poison is there , keyword = fun .
Dun worry too much over maintenance cause any cars also need to pay for maintenance , cross the bridge when the need arise, and enjoy the ride as for now.........FUN is the word......

Entering the market in fully-imported (CBU) form for now, the new 5 Series is available in just one variant – the 530i M Sport, priced at a very competitive RM398,800 on-the-road without insurance. Included is a five-year, unlimited-mileage warranty, a five-year free service package and a two-year tyre warranty.
definite fuel saving since its a hybrid and you mentioned city drive with occasional highway... boot space of 750 liter... since you have baby, Ioniq is packed with safety features as well for the HEV Plus model... Lane keeping assist, Autonomous Emergency Brake, Smart Cruise Control, 7 airbags etc... dont get stingy on safety yo
now with 3 years free service and 8 years warranty on battery pack... at least give you a peace of mind if you afraid of Kpop product...
im eyeing on Ioniq as well... in a dilemma between Ioniq HEV+ and Civic 1.5T...
if get Civic 1.5T then its mostly for me but if get Ioniq, then its mostly for my family...
i got a 1 y.o+ kid and wife's car is myvi... myvi small and lack safety so hardly use it... just keeping as spare car since its already paid off... wife office just a block away from mine, so car pool...so the new car will be used a lot to drive them around...
im quite a heavy footed person... so if get civic 1.5T sure a lot of spirited driving... but with Ioniq hybrid, silent and not as powerful, i think i would drive more carefully ... also ioniq more safety packed and bigger cabin space than civic... thus the dilemma...
A guy would not like a car without the FUN, maybe you can trade in the MiVi for Ioniq [ for your wife ]
And the 1.5T for yourself, its a fun drive all the way !!!!
