PM'd at 12pm, bought the card 4pm today. Idk about 1080 but I am sure they have quite a few 1070 lying around.

i still think it's a great card to replace 970, because of 8GB vram and better support for dx12, for 390 8GB perhaps only power draw and run cooler. 1070 is different price category altogether, but yeah bigger leap in performance.

meh, not worth pay rm250 for extra vram ( sold gtx 970 for rm1k ) better upgrade terus to gtx 1070

Always happen with AMD products so far.. hype hype hype then crash. People tends to think AMD will somehow release an extreme performance product at lower price compared to NVIDIA. Same thing with AMD processor vs Intel.

Yeap, read that its a sidegrade more than upgrade. Hopefully with this, GTX970 price won't tank so much, coz I'm still trying to sell my Asus GTX970 Turbo OC.

The problem are

1. Sites that "leaked" hyped things up
2. People go buy their reports

People should learn by now - whatever the brand presents, DO NOT ACCEPT IT!

First thing I did when AMD presented their stuff was to question rather than accept. I do the same for others too. Every brand will use the BEST benchmark to generate an idea (usually that's greater) than what they can deliver, for some reason I don't know why.

For me it's simple, what they present is fine, just take what is presented and expect LESS from it. That's why even before I received the card I already predicted R9 390 / GTX 970 performance.

It's only logical, the price so low and you expect it to beat GTX 980? That'll kill everything, even their own products.
