the phone is nice.. major upgrades for my wife which currently using redmi note 1

suprisingly it came preinstalled with global rom version 7.3.2 (LHOCNDD) & Google Playstore

exactly...for the ease of mind, Ori is better.
I have good experience with Mi3 AP set, screen lasts more than 12 months.
It's everyone's own choice la..now i also havent decided.

not sure hw much for the screen replacement . if not very expensive , still can try ur luck with AP Set . Economy not good , 120+ consider many already . hahaha

Just googled around and found many confusing articles. Do we need to unlock bootloader to flash CM and how to do it? I see have to request from xiaomi to do it?

Hi all, I understand that there's currently Global set and Local set for the SNAPGRAGON varient.. But is there any differences?
I am using the China version which has limited LTE band support (MTK Model). Thought wanna change to the SnapDragon model for better LTE support.
So does the AP set work with all our local LTE bands? Or must I get the malaysia set to be sure? Thanks.
