Question, does it have built-in root and xposed framework or do I need to flash xposed and supersu myself?

anyway guys, I am planning to flash today new MIUI8 weekly global dev ROM. Im on china dev now and my recovery is TWRP. Can i download the full zip file of MIUI release today and flash it in my TWRP? or I can only do it by using .tgz file on the mi flash tool?

It's confirmed that the battery drain is real on this latest update due to the fingerprint. Next update will have the fix.

I notice this too when I installed radon custom kernel and with kernal adiutor, my phone NEVER go into deep sleep no matter how long I locked it. But the moment I delete mt fingerprint and off the fingerprint on for lockscreen, my phone sleep like a baby. Confirmed fp problem.

Yes, I going to revert back to 6.7.21 until I confirmed the next update is fixed.  Usually they say they will fix on the next but actually they don't. So don't expect the fix to be fast. Going back is the best choice right now. So I guess the best combo will be 6.7.21 + radon 1.8. and if you try out darkness governor in radon , it actually does not lag, and the OP said it's much better on the battery power.  So I will be going to test it out for a few days with the set up.

Gonna test it out today plus, its base on 6.7.21 which do not have the battery drain bug

even on full wifi, my phone got no games, just TUGA browser, browsing, facebook, facebook messenger, insta, whatsapp, NOT even wechat.... I cant even get to 8+hrs. How can 10 hrs be possible? Oh ya, my facebook and facebook messenger already restricted activity with miui battery optimization to save battery. what else i can do? I want that 10hrs SOT!
