there are mistakes, and i'm no jemi or zeroleet who can shred and swee pick like mad (mine is messy) so i cant complain so much but practice more.

Nice solo echobrainproject, although the pitch shifter effect seems a little out-of-place in the beginning. biggrin.gif

Anyway the magazine did gave some soloing tips for the track:
Sultana Smoothie
Key : A
Suggested Scales : A Minor Pentatonic, A Aeolian, A Harmonic Minor
Technique Tip : Try fingers for a mellow attack. Or hybrid picking. Harmonic Minor licks give a twist over the progression's final chord.
Tone Tip : Use midrange, a subtle delay and flip between neck and bridge humbuckers.

If no one steps up to the plate to mix within 2 weeks, I'll do the mixdown myself.

Urgh..... Trying to come up with a solo..... and all I end up playing is the solo to Smooth!

dont worry, if u run out of ideas just grab a mic and sing or make weird turn table noises. tongue.gif
