QUOTE(kingkingyyk @ Jun 23 2016, 12:17 PM) 1) Yes... for moving subjects, the tracking AF is still better. 2) Extra battery or powerbank But the EVF is useful when you only can see pitch black from OVF... There's always live view for DSLR Call me old school, but i still prefer OVF than EVF though lol

EVF also show the exposure compensation you made in real time and focus peaking. There are times where OVF is better though, i.e. motion tracking. That remains for DSLR directory. I feel mirrorless is the better choice in other fields. This post has been edited by kingkingyyk: Jun 23 2016, 12:36 PM

Have you ever encountered situation where you thought you have captured something after looking through viewfinder just to realised everything is pitch black because you forgot to set shutter speed from 1/4000? That is ovf and more likely to develop habit of constantly checking on live view after every shot. Evf less problem on that unless you just want to check sharpness.
However if you doing burst shot or on fast moving subject, ovf is superior.

EVF has improved a lot already. Last time, like my Fuji S7000 - wah EVF is so laggy.
Nowadays EVF is so good, the inexperienced will think they're viewing through OVF.
