usually there is llumar logo at the rear window, Diamond 6 got 10-year warranty, tint film color green in hue, look bright, tinting shop from Llumar, and make sure it is not "Vessolar" which is their house-brand! stay at tinting shop to view when ur car is tinting.

My own car was Sophisto Grey which is quite close to this Modern Steel color. Maybe a bit darker. But yes, the car needs to be kept clean all the time and shiny. The moment the car is dirty, the paint looks dull and the car looks aged.

Luckily for me I have the Regal Valet car spa for only RM60 per month unlimited. I usually wash my car twice a week to maintain the look.

Wasn't my choice of color but didn't have much choice end of last year since the better colors were taken. But this will be the last time I get grey for sure. Ive always liked silver as it really stands out in the day time plus has a certain color tint/hue at night making it look sleek.

Yes the Lunar Silver is a fresh new color. Fantastic in the shade. Even nicer with the black RS front grill. Lunar silver doesn't go well with chrome bits but goes well with black. So tint it up with a darker tint like the Honda Malaysia launch car.

Llumar diamond6 is a bit too green if you ask me to match Lunar Silver...

These days, most Honda dealerships have the MyEG kiosk in their premises, so they can do the registration on the spot once all payment is settled. PDI check, tint, accessory installation and polish etc as well takes at least a couple of days. For my case, Weds got my chassis number, and the car was successfully registered by Friday (via manual process) but my SA was slow and only delivered the car on Monday to me. Also depends on your SA and how efficient he/she is. Previous time I bought a new Honda, I visited the showroom on a Friday afternoon and made a booking and took delivery of the car on the following Monday evening (no tinting and added accessory installation).

There is one quality concern I have after a deeper investigation of new civic at mid valley. I hope new civic owner can help to clarify:

If you lift up the cardboard covering the spare tyre at the boot, you should be able to see the bare chassis holder the spare tyre. If you look carefully at the inner side of bumper, there is clay sealing the gap. Will this cause the concern of rigidity?

Perhaps I think you are referring to spot welding.

That's part of the Body in White (BIW) of the car. Typically, it's stamped and welded together on a jig by robots and not manually welded. The "clay" you see is also not clay but some type of epoxy which is commonly used in joints of sheets for cars (even BMW's here) . Honda should be very stringent on the specs of the BIW for their cars and it's all based on automated manufacturing process.

Here is a pic of the BIW for the 2016 Civic. See how stringent Honda is in using different materials in the BIW for safety and ridgity purposes.

Yes. Honda releases this for body repair purposes so that repair shops can comply in repairing damage to the chassis.

Those with the car, when you put to S without touching the paddle... does it go into more aggressive D (still cvt shifting style) or it emulates shift pattern like conventional auto?

Crumple zone cannot be made of high tensile steel. The passenger cell looks sturdy. In the crash test video, it's A pillar didn't even budge at all.

If the tint shop wants to cheat, they will install a low grade tint for the rear windscreen with the Llumar logo. Then the side windows instead of using Llumar Diamond 6, they will use another cheapo brand with the same greenish hue.

Best way to know is to check who is the issuing party for the warranty cert and double check with Llumar that its valid for 10 years.

Many tint shops nowadays are cheating customers with Llumar and 3M products.
