Advisable to tk HIV for the entire period. It has better coverage and advantage then others since it's exclusive for Honda vehicle. My car still cover under HIV for over 8 years despite unencumbered.

Just a heads up for those that don't know. When you take your car, check for defects and don't accept the car if it's defected.

I'm finding it a hard time getting my problem solved. Really regret going from Toyota to Honda. Speaking to their customer care line was as useful as talking to a brick.

The chrome part on the bumper not installed properly. Alignment was out.

Most damaging of all is the busted AC. The AC is hot then cold. Car is sluggish as hell, feels like it's stuck in econ mode.

Honda takes your money, waste your time and still can't figure out what's wrong.

I'm quite an expert at complaining and they are quite an expert at ignoring complains. If you look at their social media page you'll see a ton of complains on the delay in airbag change; mind you peoples life's are at stake. Complete silence on their end.

Trust me, I wanted my problem solved the day I got the car and yet, the car is sitting in my drive way because I hate driving it. They told me to get it checked at the 1000km service, how can I reach that mileage when I don't drive it?

Car looks nice, captivates you when u get in the car the first time. Drives like a piece of shit. Worst of all, the people at Honda don't give a rat's ass about helping you get a nice experience.

Earth Dreams engine? More like Earth Nightmare.

Any difference when you turn the Econ mode on? If no difference then your car is really stuck in econ mode!

I would rather not disclose the dealer's name as it's not their fault.

A quick Google search on the AC problem and you'll find its a known issue in the american / Canadian 2016 civic. You'd imagine after a few months they would've figured out the problem.

Everyone says that. But seriously for the money you pay and the experience they have in building cars, it's really not an excuse.

If I wanted a turd box I would've bought from the copy king

If everyone kena then they Honda can close shop bro... It's a number game eventually some may have problems. But service and assurance from dealer is important for the good experience.

Bro, sorry to hear of your bad experience. Truly sympathise with you. Hope Honda Malaysia comes good and resolves your issues.

There isn't a car manufacturer on the planet which doesn't have issues with their cars. Ours is just worth RM100K+. Imagine what those Ferrari 458 Italia owners felt when their brand new cars kept catching fire at multiple locations around the world in 2010 until Ferrari issued a global recall to fix the problem.

And if its any consolation, I had numerous issues with my brand new BMW 5 Series when I bought it in Dec last year. Even my rear passenger door actually opened by itself while I was driving at 90kmph. Luckily the door is heavy so didn't swing open. Plus my car even broke down by the roadside when the fuel pump control unit short circuited.
