Looking damn awesome bro! So tempted to go for diamond already. It should look good with white orchid pearl too!
Actually Diamond 6 goes with most colors. Its light but with excellent heat rejection.

Also realised that all the tyres were pumped up to about 280-300PSI. doh.gif

So now got it reduced to 220PSI.

The ride comfort has improved a lot.

For some reason I cant seem to get the remote start to work. System already set to ON but still doesn't work. Walk away auto unlock works fine.

Also where are the controls to adjust the treble and bass for the audio?

I remember someone here said you must lock the car first before remote start
Of course. Car has to be locked. But it didn't work either.

I heard they said, you need press on the lock button, before pressing on remote start button (even though the car is locked), to prevent people from entering the car. Just a preventive measure; prolly you can try and see
Tried that too. Didn't work.

Can u try with yours and tell me if it works?

Did you leave your car overnight or you just waited at RV for the application of both the tinting and coating?
If anybody says coating can be done in a few hours, u better take your money and run.

Tinting and MOHS+ coating will take min 2 days.

QUOTE(powerbarr @ Jul 3 2016, 09:27 PM)
what kind of maintenance we are looking at?
I've used MOHS+ for about 7 months now. So far no maintenance yet. Usually after the first year, they will recoat certain sections to remove the water mark stains (if any). But usually if u wash at their car wash, then maintenance is very limited.

But what I like about Regal Valet is that they are not calculative. They go the extra mile when required. Also, even though they have Porsches, Rolls Royce, Ferrari and Lamborghini's, they treat everybody the same. Very professional and polite to all regardless of the car your drive.

Wai Loon is the owner together with 2 other guys. But their on site manager is Mr Ho. Another polite man and very passionate about cars.

Another thing that impresses me is the way they treat their workers. I go quite often to RV (twice a week plus im on whatsap with Wai Loon quite often) and not once i've seen them scolding anybody. And they never order their workers. They encourage them to work the best they can. There is continuous on the job training and their current batch of workers are quite good. You can see that their workers are happy to work there hence they do a good job with the customer's cars.

That's the advantage of having a reverse camera.

But would have been better if Honda had given a slightly better reverse cam.

Bro,
am interested in the group buy.
Btw, you guys planning to do the tinting as well?
Interested in Llumar Diamond 6. So far good experience for me (Took Llumar diamond 6 for honda city with honda city connection club at Vessolar 6 years ago)

Just wanna ask about the maintenance of the Gyeon. Must go back to RV for car wash? or any cash wash will do? (cos got car wash below office area)
No requirements to go back to RV for car wash but I do because their Auto Car Bath Club is very affordable. RM60 per month for unlimited washes.

And yes Llumar Diamond 6 is the best so far for the specs and price on offer. RM2,800. All done at RV concurrently with the coating.

bro, read in the previous post that 1.5T at 1.8k = 110kph, how about the 1.8 that you are having bro? mind shed some light?  thumbup.gif
Haven't even crossed 80kmph so far. Only city driving for the moment. Maybe when the traffic around KL clears this week, I can hit 110kmph.

Im also keen to know.

But im also wondering how accurate we can be with the RPM at 110kmph since this is CVT transmission? You need to be travelling at a perfectly constant speed of 110kmph on a flat road to know for sure. If you press the pedal slightly harder, the RPM goes up.

I doubt we can get an accurate reading.

Hi guys, I'm getting my car on Fri and going for coating.
Anyone interested can join in group price with 10% off, less than 1k.

Personally, if u ask me, I wouldn't go for this. Any coating product which is less than 3K (original price) will not be of high quality and its durability will be very limited.

Not everybody needs to do coating. For me, if I didn't get a good price on the Regal Valet GYEON MOHS+ coating, I wouldn't have bothered doing the coating. Just polish and wax every 6 months will be good enough. The paint will still be fine. I used my previous Vios for 9.5 yrs with no coating. Just wax and polish and the usual washes. The paint was still very good and shiny when I sold it.

Just because others are doing it, doesn't mean we need to do it as well. There are many rubbish cheapo coating products in the market which do more harm than good to the car paint. Don't be impressed by their business marketing and cheap prices. And dont be taken in by imported products. Not everything imported is good. Malaysia is also a dumping ground for cheap products from foreign countries.

But unfortunately we don't get the most important safety feature as an option, and that is Honda Sensing package. Wonder why HM left it out as an option?
Because very few Malaysians would have opted for it. You would be surprised that, given a choice, many Malaysians still opt for cheaper variants that doesn't come with Electronic Stability Control and less airbags just because its cheaper.

And to retrofit just a few cars on the assembly line with an additional package, doesn't make economic sense from the production perspective.

And for me, all these safety features are good but it will come to nothing if we still cannot practice basic safety like wearing rear seatbelts. Im quite certain at least 50% of the forumers on LYN do not bother to wear rear seatbelts and also do not ensure their passengers wear them. I make it a point to look at other cars on my daily commute to/fro work and I would say 90% with rear passengers are not buckled in.
