Probably he'll use the money to start a company. After all he'll retire around 38 years old, still a young man. Maybe he'll invest and produce films? Brand management agency perhaps?

In just two or three months time, Beckham will move to L.A. Galaxy! I can't wait to see Americans worship him like The God of Balls, and spawn movies about him including Bend It Like Beckham 2: This Time He's In The Movie. Also, Beckham will start a music career singing songs like '250 million dollar man' and 'Hairy Man Chest United'. Beckham will start his own underpants company with the company motto being 'It Won't Bend Like Beckham'. Victoria will start her own school to teach young children how to choose a husband wisely and take all the money for shopping. rclxms.gif

I am against the idea of footballers becoming celebrities. The lifestyle and fame can get to their head and their performance on the pitch will suffer.

He's a bit 'kaku' when he's in front of the camera like during interviews. He won't be able to act.

With all that money he can start a image management agency for footballers or something.

I think he'll just go around setting up football schools around the world thus cementing the Beckham legacy forever. If he's really smart he could breed these youngsters en mass and sell them for millions.

He could also buy his own football club.

is that why u support chelsea now sad.gif?? true was a legend in the past..i used to like him...but then he was bigger than the club...and the gaffer will not take such a stance...sure he did score alot of important goals...but then the english press like to find a scapegoat.. and this going to america to promote football..i dun really believe that...250 million is a lot of money..and i'm sure posh spice will be nudging his husband to go there..and once his there..he for sure will get alot of deals which means more money..

he was getting ahead of himself..not bcuz of his way of thinking..but more to his wife...she ruined him..not football wise..but prolly making decisions for him

i think i used 2 b a normal girl who idolized him too....

c. ronaldo is not a likeable player....i hate him since d WC 2006..n was surprised 2 find out that he's actually man u player...but man u fans sure like him ofcz, he create penalty opportunity...

i'm not so in2 football....i'm more in2 f1, whereby i watch every race...i put up d chelsea logo n claimed i'm a chelsea supporter becoz i like terry, n nobody else...in fact, i dun watch much football matches

is true that posh is d 1 responsible for all this....in fact, beckham manage 2 b so famous n sustained d fame is becoz he dated posh spice...remember d days when spice girl was d most popular n dominate d chart....every tabloid is full of their gossips.....even spice girl had been demolished.....posh is definately a great 'star manager'....if his wife is some1 else, i dun think he would turn out 2 b such an icon

i agree...if his wife was a different person...perhaps he may be still in united tongue.gif..and yes well as supporters we backed our team..thats what we should be doing..even if it was the bad or the good..but i wouldnt expect to find alot of female supporters around malaysia tongue.gif..i know theres a number of them but wouldnt outnumber the male supporters..but well this is the present. david beckham is in his twilight of his career..

he wants to do wat he please..then let it be..cuz there will be other football iconics that will replace him..but for hardcore fans..we based a player's greatness by his skill and what he brings to the game..ronaldo has that in abundance..sure u think he dives? and u think hes the main culprit for rooney's sending off?..all media frenzy..why he still to be blame cuz ppl in england wont forgive him..plzz...i hope they just get over it and see whats there in front of their faces....

v back our own player, tat's true....but in football, i really wish to c honesty....not juz becoz d rooney issue...oso about d way a draw was solved wit a penalty

i doubt if there would b any player that can b such an icon like beckham...can u imagine his biblio was translated in 14 diff languages? n most of his fans were not western, is asia......n d most miracle part is tat ppl who dun watch football knows him....like my grandpa who know nothing about sport...but he'll tell u he knows who bekham is..(sounds weird, rite? coz my grandpa wouldn't know who is zidane or ronaldo)

No doubt about it, Beckham is a smart man. He might not have the football career he wanted, won't be able to end it like all the other greats. But he is a very smart man, and he had made sure he'll have enough money to last him 10 lifetimes. Now, that's not something most footballers are smart enough to do.
