Is there any validity extension package for Yes 4G?
*
Not that I'm aware of.

The longest validity extension you can do is to top up RM100 for 200 days' validity.

Ugh. Guess I've been playing around with adguard, multiple simcards and ipv6 lately that I totally forgot that YES doesn't support ipv6 doh.gif. Stupid me. My deepest apologies.

Yes 4G does indeed support IPV6.

Learned from internet, alternative to using the app:

To check balance:
Send SMS
    BAL <your_no.>
to 0183301111

To reload credit:
Send SMS
    REL <your_no.> <16-digit activation no.>
to 0183301111

so i just need to buy the rm15 monthly plan to maintain the validlity right?
*
For Yes4G the ONLY way to extend validity is to top up.

But nowadays Yes4G is more generous than other telcos. Every RM1 topup = 2 days validity.

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Mar 17 2021, 10:03 AM)
Also make sure you top up exactly RM 15 for the monthly plan (best done via MyYes4G app), do not top up separately (eg: RM 10 + RM 5 on e wallets).

Sifus please do correct me if I'm wrong. biggrin.gif
*
I believe only MyYes4G app can top up exactly RM15. Other payment channels you can top up by RM10, RM30, RM50 or RM100 only.

(But 3rd party e-wallet apps may have discounts or cashback.)

Hi ,
Have anyone tried the Kasi Up Prepaid version and use the 20GB data plan?
I want to know if the 20GB data plan is able to do hotspot /tethering.
*
I have my Y4G SIM permanently in my router. I usually buy the RM20 for 20GB add-on.

Hi,

All the sifu out there.

Has anyone try to use YES Kasi Up sim card in Nokia 8110 4G phone?

I tried it on sim2 slot, reconfigured the APN to yesnet, enable VoLTE, enable data. Didn't get to connect to the YES network.

I had been using the same YES Kasi Up sim card on my Huawei Nova 3i on sim2 slot with no problem for few months already.

I'm guessing you're using the version which doesn't support LTE Bands 38 and 40.

You mean the Nokia 8110 version?

According to the quick guide, it does support LTE band 38 and 40.
*
There are two versions:
Europe:
1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20

Middle East/China/N. Africa:
1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 38, 39, 40, 41

Are you sure you've got the China one?

BTW, is there a way to use Nokia 8110 to check the YES credit/data balance, since there's no YES app for KaiOS? Like using USSD code or sms.
