Anyone using the Power 35 postpaid? Is the 150GB hotspot-able using a stock modem-router?

Rm35 + SST for 150GB is good value if it can be hotspot-able through stock modem-router.

Trying to cut cost by replacing orange telco's UH5G with this Power 35.

use this postpaid rm35 since a year ago, but with a phone hotspot with set 5Ghz, it is fast with 5G signal. Never try on a modem cz not own that plus home with 300mbps Unifi fiber. foresee no issue on the modem cz it sharing data of 150gb for normal line & hotspot. Others telco maybe cw 1xx gb data but capped of 10-30gb for hotspot, that why many hacked it to utilize the hotspot data using normal data allocation.

Never tried it on a router though, but I have extensively use the plan with hotspot this week under 5G (almost finished my 150GB data - usually I am using 300Mbps home fibre internet but this case I am using this because I am away from home) and the speed is impressive.

The top two options are not suitable if you have internet speed requirements (both capped at 3Mbps) and the latter two is not available for use in Peninsular Malaysia.

I have terminated orange telco UH5G just now...

Now using Telco H "Sabah Pass" - 1TB 5G fully hotspot-able on stock modem-router - RM18 after rebate of RM2.

Not sure how long this "Sabah Pass" will continue to be offered. But RM72 (orange UH5G) vs RM18 for the same quota... really no brainer!

This is what will happen if you use up all the data on Yes Power 35.

It is a special case this month because I don't usually use that much of data as I have fibre broadband at home.

Guys, may I know if YES WIFI CALLING is working? I can make calls but I can't receive phone calls altogether.

However, when the data is turned on, it works.

I'm using a Samsung Device.

It shows WIFI Calling. But, only work with outgoing calls but not incoming. From the day port-in until today, I have not received a single call but a lot of SMS missed call alerts.

Just hit 150gb yesterday, b4 this shopee data come in handy. Bought shopee vpn, netmod, can use back as usual above 150gb, cons, consistent at 150-200mbps vs b4 at 700-900mbps for 5G at Miri. Still ok considering less than rm10 per month shopee. For hotspot, use Every Proxy apps, YouTube many teach how

Thanks for information but I don't usually need that many extra data. But yes, Shopee data is very handy for free extra data while it lasts.

what number you are calling?

1-300 numbers are not free, and not included in unlimited calls

normally it's best to look for a 03 number, like they advertise for calling from overseas

I'd like to port in my current number to infinite basic 38, but I don't quite understand the procedure. Saw mynews sold the yes postpaid packet at their counter shelf. My question is can I just buy the postpaid packet and port in my number myself without the help of the cashier there? Usually how much is the postpaid packet? Those packet contain SIM card not esim right?
