My SR16VE can't do that in 3rd gear, trust me... I can't even do that in 2nd gear...

65% highway 35% city drive with rm80 for 450km its kinda high FC to me.
cozs i everyday city drive. if i use sr16ve fc is nightmare to me. hehe........... moreover i always stuck in traffic light one cozs my area many traffic lights and many jam.

but my fren that civic engine already fully balance, using mugen ECU, vafc, sitc, exhaust also change liao, rim i think its 15inch.

how much rpm when u use 5th gear in 90km/h. my ga16de auto give me 2000rpm using forth gear at 90km/h. i think u will get 2500rpm with 5th gear on 90km/h.

Yeah, FC is on the high side for this engine... What to do, high performance engine mah...

Yeah, at 90km/h, the RPM is at about 2,500RPM... I'll double check later today...

Nissan C20/22 even more power...1.5 ltr carb can start moving in 3rd gear. And the damn engine refuses to die lol.
Both vans are 1st generation models. The newer ones are rubbish.

The main reason why your friends EG is able to take off in 3rd gear is probably because of the ultra low final drive. You can verify this by checking his top speed.

If an engine can pull a larger gear is because of torque, not outright horsepower.


And VANQUISH, your car can pull off at 3rd gear too.....want me to show you how hehehehehe just need to smoke your clutch.

In euro auto gearbox speak, its called winter mode.

No plans on switching to auto la... I'm happy with the manual gearbox, just need to shorten the gearshifts only...

This is even more challenging...........fit a micra gearbox I know a place in Oz which makes special bell housing

oh finally a believer.....you need a few gearboxes for your experiment hehehehehe.....


dun forget to install the IKEYA sequential shifter and QUAFIE LSD..........wet dreams

ur original manual gb got LSD oh. dont drop in auto gb later regret no lsd.

No la, original gearbox not shortshift... I double checked with SentraGTS oredi, his SR16VE also no shortshift...

is it ur ga16de rosak?
sentragts ga16de eat engine oil so he change to sr16ve. how abt u?

now i surveying sr16ve, 4g92mivec, b16a. hehe............ just like these 1.6 valve lift engine. the most good FC i think is mivec then b16a. sr16ve is a happy rev engine but fc scare me away. haha.............
anywhere not enough $$ to buy those car too lar.

if my boss give me increment 30% then can consider to buy a civic with b16a. hehe.............. but civic parts damm expensive. if use wira/satria with mivec its cheaper but local made chasis...................

I changed engine becoz my GA16DE rosak loh... Damn sakit hati...

My case is worse loh, my GA16DE was coughing out tons of white smoke loh...

If SR16VE is too expensive for you, maybe u should consider SR18DE or SR20DE loh... Those are good engines too...

putting sr20de got a lot problem cozs sentra is front wheel drive.
need modify mounting later jpj dont let go pun susah.
sr16ve is good but fc high lor.

can say that all sr engine are tahan lasak lar.

Not really, SR20DE got front wheel drive version also... U just need to look for them, N15 Pulsar got one version that uses SR20DE...

If worry about high FC, later install S-AFC II or NEO, then it will return some decent FC figures...

bro, think if you convert to NGV, you will not face FC problem. Other problem may arise, station's location

hmm............. 1.6 to 2.0 got problem with jpj lerr bro.
so sr20 its out lar.

if like this then u can install emanage and detune ur engine then fc will be much better. haha...........
