Beause actually Nissan Sentra N16 in China & Japan, they using QR20DE engine, even in US, they also using QR20DE. I have asked my friend who is a mechanic, he said QR20DE can fit inside N16 and no need to modify anything, just change the engine and gearbox, that's all. And I have found a X-trail half cut with QR20DE and 6 speed manual, so thinking to transplant it to my N16. But the problem is whether JPJ will give approval or not.

Vanquish : is every car have reserve tank ar? sorry for noob question i'm asking due to my fren is saying about this topic. Hes driving Wira and he said his fren have a so call 'back-up radiator' which also known as dual layer. In case the main radiator leak, the back up comes into play. I never heard of such thing b4 this. Is what u saying equal to what he said? i guess not right? coz as i know our radiator is barely standalone.

I spoke to one mechanic that i have to use only Nissan original absorber..and due to that..i had to spend almost RM1500 for the front absorbers...anyone can help pls?

I suppose it is 97 since its the most premium available in malaysia. V-power was an exception. I rmbr i read somewhere too, some petrol startion will name 97 as premium starting Sept. How true is it i`m not sure lah hahaa

B14, i think Vanquish bro will be able to help you because i`m not really sure of B14's stock size. Theres info on the net but i`m not sure which is Malaysian version tho. As a rule of thumb, your wheel overall diameter cannot be 3% bigger or smaller than stock in order to left ur speedo alone.

no..the problem is when you put the engine in, then what gearbox you hav to put in to match wit the engine? totally different design of the gear box if you really want to install perfectly wit the engine...we hav tested the gearbox and the engine for firing test before we install on the new chassis body, it is becoz not every engine totally same wit other althought they are same model, so we hav to make sure everythings is good and meet the japan spec or requirement...i hav full details of assembly manual and operating sheet of whole n16 from japan...

no more "kiiing koooong" noise (replace some rubber mount bushing)
no more wind sound (replace "window rubber")
even mom also can wheelspin @2nd gear (new clutch)

I had problem with N16 headlight beam.. The beam is not bright enough.. Izit need a pair of foglight?

singchaii .. i am having the same issue too ... since no one else has mentioned about it ... i thought it was oni me ... Could this be cause by the yellow residue on the light itself or something has to be done? I check at a accessories shop nearby and they said that is the reason and also adviced me to get it cleaned... it will cost RM45 per light

Vanquish.. it is outside... do you think it is worth it to let the accessories shop to clean it or i should just buy the liquid myself .. i saw in Mudah.com.my they're selling for RM 40 or something nie .. but is it a lot of work?
