back in 198X, this is the idea, by rebadge they can learn car technology and slowly go in automotive industry ... but after 30 year we still rebadge and gov called it PRIDE of Malaysia with no shame.

yup, Proton and Hyundai were rebadge with Mitsubishi in same era, but today Hyundai gone far a head from proton in Automotive industries .......
