Then you don't need much tip assuming you're already about 7-10y on the job. You can get your salary expectation in glassdoor as well. Their pay is very structured and pretty much fixed for every corp rank

Wanted to tell you about the horrendous hour of an auditor, but I suppose you'd know that already. I look at the auditor I am working with, everyday looks like a depressed zombie

QUOTE(Ultimaweapon @ Jun 22 2016, 09:56 AM)
I've a few questions, hope I can get some advice on it:-

1. How long does it usually take from EP application to IPA?
1-2 weeks

2. If you've signed / accepted the employment offer to start work in August but
have not yet even received the IPA, are you required to report for work using the
social pass?
You need to accept the offer for your new employer to submit the application form. Usually they'll submit the form the day after once you submit the signed employment offer.

3. I understand that it is illegal to work without EP or any other passes, but does
in-process of application count for anything?
You can use the IPA to start your new job

4. What is a comfortable salary range for Malaysians working in SG? Is 4k acceptable?
I mean, without spending much on luxuries.
4k and only spend on necessities, I believe you can save >2k/month

Btw, I've submitted almost 20+ resumes before landing this job recently.
Good luck to job-seekers out there!

Thanks!  smile.gif

There is only a Medical Examination Form saying

This form to be completed by qualified doctor and returned to the foreign employee.

Foreign employee must produce his/her passport and and the IPA letter from the MOM oto the doctor.

The foreign employee must submit this report to MOM during card registration.

After that it's my personal particulars and section to be filled be doctor.
*
You can do the medical examination at any qualified clinic. I did mine at BP Specialist Centre.

Once the result is out, submit to your new employer HR and keep a copy for yourself. If possible, you can also claim a certain amount of the examination from your new employer.

I got an interview at Macpherson road, I plan to take bus back to KL this Friday evening right after the i'view.
Any suggestion for the nearest bus stop with more choices? I want to buy the ticket on the spot.

of coz can't convert. rm60k is just s$20k, basicially <s$2k/month, that is like minimum wage for Marehsian working in Sg. I think 99.9% of Marehsians here qualify if like that.
*
Haha, exactly.

Only Citibank doesn't. Others like Maybank and Public Bank do convert to MYR equivalent
