QUOTE(Fiona Chin @ Sep 21 2016, 10:21 AM) My hubby one applications all rejected using SG income only. No employment and credit history in MY. Now he got MY income then all approve but credit limit only tie to MY salary not SG salary. Thanks sis.Airport lounge atas feel only last for a while. Then it become common item. No time to enjoy one unless you purposely go there early or doing transit. Like the shower facility and private work station only when transiting. Other facilities just normal normal. Good also that I didn't meet requirements. At least less one commitment. |

Guys/girls, when going to MRT carriage don't run and rush in. Someone slipped today and the feet stuck in the gap between the carriage and platform. Had to press the emergency button.
She only had minor scratch and bruise on her feet. |

QUOTE(Crossbone @ Jan 7 2017, 06:26 PM) Hi all! Why not just try to request for a transfer?Just wanna consult ppl here working in accounting roles. I was wondering what is the demand for accounting personnel right now? I know the employment market is grim in sg now. but my gf moved there and i was thinking of making a move too. I currently working for a US MNC's SSC in msia, handling the GL function. The companies i handled are mainly based in EU and singapore. My company has a HQ in singapore, and i report mostly to the controller and senior managers in SG. i dealt with the finance staff in SG quite often. I have 1+ year of exp for this company, is it gonna give me an advantage here? Other than that, I have 3+ years handling full set accounts for sdn bhd, which i believe not worth much in SG. Education wise, i am an aussie grad with a degree in finance. currently pursuing my prof certs (CIMA to be exact), at the middle level, passed several papers last year, actively studying it now. i been observing jobstreet and other job sites, seems GL positions are popping up quite frequent, ranging from junior to senior roles. Not sure they consider malaysians anot? I am thinking of trying my luck applying for cost accounting positions, but its a long shot. What are my chances? |

Want to ask
1) If my unit current broadband is held by my housemate, is it possible to do a transfer to my name or should I subscribe a new service again? 2) If it means to cancel the existing broadband, will the service provider take back the router as well? 3) What's the best deal for broadband? So far most package comes in $39.90/month and $49.90/month This post has been edited by XiuKeong: Jan 9 2017, 01:29 AM |

QUOTE(aLertz @ Jan 9 2017, 10:53 AM) go ask telco better...diff telco might have different condition.... for M1, 1) Cannot transfer broadband account... 2) only have to return the modem 3) depends on what speed u want... QUOTE(huaweie5830 @ Jan 9 2017, 11:03 AM) Fibre or broadband ? Both r different thing, worst to worst, just apply a new line and ignore your housemate one. As now new sign up always got promotion, and normally a fibre port can support upto 2 Lines , should not be a problem for u. Currently we're using Starhub fibre, so far no issue yet but seeing now the price can get 500mbps/1gbps so why not change right? |

QUOTE(someone_stupid @ Jan 23 2017, 02:01 PM) actually i realise a lot ppl asking how much for salary for xx year for nn industry but since malaysia and sg is geographically close, similar culture, similar cost of living (albeit of difference but in terms of food and transport), much of the salary is equal. But the industry standard between MY and SG can be different. This can be one of the main factor of the salary difference.if u are earning 4k in myr, expect to earn around 3.8k - 4.2k removing consideration for the size of company, client exposure, role type just because, a move whether horizontal or vertical would have positive or negative impact on the salary. so it should be no brainer if u are already earning 4k myr and then someone comes and tell u ur expected is 3k sgd effectively devaluing ur experience and skills (unless the size of company is different but for the sake of argument we assume it's the same) of course, this is just my 2 cents tldr: if u already making n myr, expect +-20% in sgd. simple as that |
