Yeah biggrin.gif...

Not that it won't happen but it's relatively much safer here.
Imagine leaving your bag with your items on a bench inside a garden while you go for a jog?

It would've been long gone if it was in M'sia biggrin.gif

But still... Don't try tongue.gif

my wife had her mobile phone and wallet stolen at yio chu kang stadium many years back, thinking it'd be safe to keep those in her backpack with bottle at the seat while she jog instead of using the locker. Low crime doesnt mean no crime.. LOL

Childcare vs maid at home - two different things, some housewife prefer to send the toddler to childcare for the sake of learning, kids are better to learn in a group

i do send my children to playgroups/pre-kindy for few hours a day. so that makes up for the learning and socializing part.
A maid can help with house works and my childrens get to spend more time at home with my wife (who is working from home, spend few hours a day, earn less) instead of being left at childcare (or nanny for my case, since i'm not citizen and childcare is too costly IMO).

i've been thru the stage myself when i was a kid and both my parents have to work, and i know how it feels.. so wherever possible, i'll try not to send my kids to childcare/nanny.

Sometimes see timing/luck de. Ur friends might have come when things were growing and as such they were lifted together with the tide.

Now though looks like the tide is receding...
