for work wise, customer is also smb, hence the project also small very small scale, my skill almost getting rusted.
For example, implement an ERP system for a 5-10 users environment, only involve a physical ERP server, probably a brand new firewall for public access to the ERP system and that's it. While for larger scale project, it might involve more complicated network environment, integration with the customer existing infrastructure, etc....

for benefit wise, needless to say, no more big pantry full with chocolate, nice R&R room with darts, gaming system...
probably office in cbd or somewhere near town area, more convenient if you want to hang out with frens after work.

Just talk crap here, I believe i gonna stuck here in smb unless i go back KL  smile.gif

Me too i moved out from mnc to smb and it was difficult to adjust especially in pace and work style but I couldn't think of going back to kl for any godly reason, rather smb in sg than mnc in kl

my situation also 30% pay cut if figure to figure.
if having work pass, are you allowed to jump? yes thn how it works? also if under work pass a year, would your boss do increment after confirmation?increment even after a year thn renew of your work visa?
for me, I do a math as said my spending is 2k myr in malaysia, 2k sgd in singapore. if u near 5k sgd at singapore , tax would take 300, u still got 2.7k left for saving, this a good number.

well, how's urs situation as i had given example.

but side factor maybe compare your MY job and SG job etc, you will only know after few weeks/months of working in the real situation.
*
u are a wp holder? well nothing wrong rite? wp/ep/spass, of course u can always look for a new job.

1) update resume
2) send resume
3) pray for interview
4) go interview
5) pray for good success
6) accept pre employment
7) new boss will apply wp/ep/spass
8) current boss will know that someone is applying wp/ep/spass (need to validate this)
9) once ipa obtained, resign
10) enjoy icon_rolleyes.gif
11) rinse and repeat from no 1 again

Guys,

Would like to ask, if I fly from KLIA / Subang Airport to Singapore Changi airport?
When I reached Changi airport, can I buy free duty alcohol? Or would I passby 1 free duty shop?
*
QUOTE(huaweie5830 @ Feb 20 2017, 01:58 PM)
can
*
nope you are not allowed to, u cannot buy duty free alcohol on flights to and fro malaysia in changi, but you can buy in malaysia when you land from sg. sg does not allow duty free purchase for passengers coming in from malaysia. even in batam u have to be away 72 hours or was it 48 hours before you are allowed to buy duty free.

Hi, so you mean that we could not purchase any duty free goods from changi to malaysia? I am planning to get a carton of cigarette when I am going back Malaysia from Changi.  blink.gif

QUOTE(KilJim @ Feb 20 2017, 02:44 PM)
He means entering SG from MY, you cannot buy duty free
Going back into MY is no problem

i bought cigarettes for relative before last year.
it was SG-MY, they requested for my boarding pass (i think) but did not stop me.

ok here's the scenario. talking about alcohol yea since #alcoholisfriend rclxm9.gif

arriving in singapore from malaysia
- you are not allowed to buy IN CHANGI
- there's no guarantee singapore customs will not tax you if you buy from malaysia

arriving in malaysia from singapore
- you can buy anything you want IN KLIA/PEN/IPOH or any other airport in malaysia

transiting in singapore from malaysia
- you are allowed to buy cause your final destination is not insgapore
