My goal is to purchase one every year. If i achieve this goal, in 13 years time, I would have 16 property and if all are rented out, I can probably retire by 40.

Save up and get Singapore property or Malaysia property?

Or continue rent till old in singapore and balik to kampung afterward?

As long as my salary keep increasing every year, i will be able to meet the 30% debt to income ratio. Funnily enough.. the banks wont add to your current loans to the ratio if you are renting out your investment prop. I find that stupid, but not complaining as im benefactor of such arrangement.

My first prop, i admit i had financing help from my parents by utilising some equity of their fully paid off home. Second prop I bought, was my first msian home loan. Third prop which I bought recently and will be staying at in jb, I took advantage of singapore lower interest rate for overseas props. Just give them 20% dp and gau tim.

Anyway just saying that while HDB's were subsidized when sold brand new to the SC, the subsidy doesn't transfer over to the PR when he/she buys it 5 years later. I have already checked. There is NO direct train. From Woodlands, have to take 3 different trains and total traveling time to Prai station is 13 hrs, assuming no delays. Meaning I wud need to apply extra day leave for just traveling! Early morning travel and night time 9.30pm only arrive in Bworth, not even home yet. :-(

This leniency gave my boss some balls to take advantage of people. If they don't have this leniency then local bosses have to pay higher to get foreign talent. Sorry not higher at least fair or market price.

Anyone here travel daily via woodlands or experienced b4,  would like to know the situation for a normal Friday like this to get out from SG heading to Larkin after work (5.30pm).
How long normally it will take? any tips or suggestion to get out quicker?
