Apple stocks good to buy? Some analysts say will hit USD 200 per stock soon. Apple one of the cheaper stocks to buy still compare to famous brands like Amazon, Google, Tesla etc.

Bought some. Will hold long term at least a few years.
If Android catch up to Apple some day in term of their mobile devices, then must sell asap.

This 2weeks, people park their money in AAPL because of the uncertainty of the market. Cause AAPL is safer and stable.

That causes the price to go up without any news or reason from AAPL.

Price will go up time to time, every Q earning and yrs to yrs. Read and study the chart.

So the price is high at this time. But that is ok for long term.

Android is Google. Google snother stock like AAPL that can buy.

If you talking about other mobile devices android, that is too rojak, too small to catch up.
*
Yea I know Android and Apple ecosystem and devices very well. Always read articles to catch up.
So far Android issue is Snapdragon 888 and above chipsets, all overheat like mad easily.

And Android phones till this day cannot beat iPhone's durability.. iPhone can easily last more than 5 years (even iPad).. but not Android devices as they will lag like mad after just 3 years max. If Android devices can fix this one day.. then time to sell Apple stocks. Oh and that overheating issue from Snapdragon needs to go too.

Apple recently smart add more battery capacity to their new iphones 13 lineups.. straightaway jacked up demand for their devices like mad. Kudos to them thumbsup.gif Also that added pro motion 120hz refresh rate for 13 pro and pro max phones also boosted demands for their phones. Yea these 2 things is common on Android... but once again when applied on an Apple phone/ipad then is a big deal.

Feds want to increase interest rates 3 times this year. Gonna be bad for US stocks. Better wait prices stabilize first before buying too much US stocks:

https://www.fool.com/investing/2022/01/05/w...is-toast-today/

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/01/03/markets-and...two-months.html

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/12/15/business...ember-2021.html

when Fed's increases interest rates it will make harder for businesses to borrow loan (will be more expensive) hence harder for them to improve/upgrade their businesses. This is why investors will worry as growth will be lower. Plus side is this will reduce inflation rate for US citizens.

Last year 2021 was good as interest rate was almost 0 to boost spending and improve economy due to Covid. This year stocks/US ETFs growth might not be as good.

Some sectors will benefit from this, mainly banks. Time to look into their stocks perhaps:

can't imagine what the end result will be like if Fed really increase interest rates 8 times in 2 years. Hope they will cancel the plan or at least reduce it.

Thinking if I should put more money in US stocks /etfs or focus on buying dividend stocks at bursa for time being.. Like Maybank, Sentral, UOA reit.

What u guys think? Since they also say buy low sell high.. When it dips at US then good time to buy the dip?. But we dunno how low this dip can go somemore?.. Haih.

The dip is not over yet.. And seems like is only the beginning just coz of Fed raising interest rates.

So basically interest rate + covid is the dalang for these drops.

Will wait till stocks drop to their lowest only start gathering.

Nothing to worry if you already position yourself back nov/dec. When fed announce their strategy this yrs.

Put money aside and look for cheap entry. Avoid growth stock.

buy BNKS will sure grow this year.. I keep see mine fluctuate from red then green. Steady above USD7 per etf.
US bank will make alot of money due to rising interest rates thumbup.gif

consumer staples also good bet but I see didn't increase much in year, so pass.
or can try Oil and Gas - https://www.justetf.com/en/etf-profile.html...6R51Z18#listing
SPOG byk mahal, can try IOGP for cheaper version.
Interested in this due to urest in mid east and rising oil prices.

I bought some SMH - semiconductors ETF but seem like it also kena downward spiral.. haih. Earlier read news of semiconductors shortage in market for next 3 years. Hope will bounce back.

Dont dare to buy more S&P 500, VWRA, SWRD etc standard ETFs. Their price macam keep falling. Maybe later once I have more confidence will buy the dip!

US stocks so far only bought some APPL and Pfizer, betting Pfizer will go up due to Paxlovid med for Covid.
I'm more into growth ETFs for my US investing.

If you R&D well this etf and stock, nothing to worry. It is fundamental of the stock important. Not the speculative market.

I didn't into ETF. As individual stock can earn more.

S&P record is not bad. Check the chart.

Didn't into healthcare. Too many competitors. I cannot understand why Pfizer is still below $100 and growth 60% only from start pandemic 2020 till today.

AAPL is good. More product to come this yrs. And people treat it as a safe cash parking when the market is uncertain.

Bank is stable. But pretty boring la.  yawn.gif

Q4 earning huh.. ha...this month for some consumer cyclical stock. You know what to buy for a quick $ now.  brows.gif

one of the main reasons that I prefer ETF is many of the US stocks I want are super expensive. Dislike buying fractional shares.

It is possible to crash until March 2020 level for a reset. And yes it is 50% from top.

If really drop to 50%+ won't it affect US economy as a whole? Their currency value will drop as well since less investors?

Will it cause a global or US recession?

Just kidding...well.. not directly.  tongue.gif

But he did admit the balance sheet is huge... no rate hike now but in March or every other FOMC meeting.
Uh huh... that's also means a slow death!

gonna be a bumpy year for US stocks and ETFs.

later will DCA some.. need to believe in the power of DCA-ing.
