Inflation cooled. Bulls come out to play and bear will retreat after this print.

Not sure how long will this bull euphoria sustained.

I guess you are not experienced in the stock market as a long term investor eh? If you were then you wouldnt have posted that statement. Nobody invests in the stock market expecting 200% returns a year. Thats foolish.
*
Yup. Only experienced in losing 51% of the time 😅

Hindsight is always 20/20.. maybe he has some 2021 high stocks?

So can we play the same book as last year? We buy nvidia this year and expect the same thing to happen next year.
*
The play book would be the same if you invest long term 🤦‍♀️ if you want to shuffle the playbook often then you have trade a lot instead which higher chances of losing

That is why if you DCA only one playbook 🤦‍♀️ and if wanna shuffle playbook then you trade more simple as that

Yes you buy low and sell high but the occurrence will be very like probably 1 in 1000 trades

It depends on how you wanna express your investment views

BAC tracks a lot on based macro consumer economics views 🤦‍♀️ while banks like GS and MS tracks more on institutional investment banking

Avoid BCA. Buy JP Morgan or TD or RBY. Better banks than Bank of America.

Did you mean BNY Mellon or RBC instead of RBY?

But the better option than BAC would be definitely JPM

The US stock market is geared towards growth. Value doesnt really do well over the long term. I think if a major part of your portfolio is not in Big Tech then you end up having a very average portfolio. Might as well invest in KLCI for dividends.

Take Goldman Sachs for example. In Oct 2007, it was at $250. Now 16 yrs later its at $339. Imagine waiting 16 yrs for it to move up just 35%. Inflation alone would have killed off your profits. In comparison the QQQ tech ETF is up 601% over the same 16 year period.

I've been going heavy into Big Tech since 2018. My most recent buying sprees were in Sept/Oct last year followed by Feb, Aug and Oct of this year. Im done buying for this year (unless there is a big selloff in December which if it happens, i will take advantage of for sure).

My investment horizon is 10-15 years so while my portfolio is highly tech focused, im diversified across the Magnificent 7 stocks plus building small positions in stocks like Uber and General Electric. I started building a position in Uber in December last year when it was trading at around $27. Its now $54. Similar to GE where I started making entries at $55 and its now at $119. Ive also got about 3% portfolio exposure to Palantir which i entered around $9 (its $20 now).

Today announce Q3 earning is probably already count in. But the announcement next yrs will determine 500 can stay.

Its way overbought. There will be a price correction. That's to be expected. But this stock is a long term hold.

"Our sales to China and other affected destinations, derived from products that are now subject to licensing requirements, have consistently contributed approximately 20-25% of Data Center revenue over the past few quarters," Nvidia CFO Colette Kress said in a release.

Uncertain next Q4 that cause the price drop.

Won't expect it to have much correction with AI trend and strong growth from Nvidia. It already leave the 300 region and into support at above 400.

This stock is already beyond my expectations. Is already in profit + profit. How long want to hold.
