- The strange thing is see on my torrents health is either yellow or blue and vuze says i may have NAT problem.

Not sure how to fix this thing.
previously DIR-615 have no issues.

Below is the Seed ( i am seeding it but it shows 0, and health is not green )
*
Here's a test I just did with uTorrent at the coffee shop I mentioned with the RGX4400, same router as yours. As you can see, UPNP is working so no need to port forward.

I have problems with my torrent

I don't seem to be uploaded anything at all.. my speed is blank.. Settings in both torrent client is Original untouched, and reset to default.
*
Very odd that your upload speed is all blank. What IP are you getting from Unifi? Just the first 2 numbers will be fine.

it says...

Is that the same IP you see in Router Status/Device/WAN Configuration page for Connection_1 ? Just want to confirm that you're on a public IP.

QUOTE(StuartLee2015 @ Jun 30 2016, 07:35 PM)
Should i set Static IP here?

what should i put in?
*
Nope, don't do that or your internet won't work. Your IP is assigned to you by Unifi and it changes hence the term dynamic IP.

Yes.. its the same...

If your torrents are downloading fine then your internet connection is OK. Not sure why it doesn't seed but there's only so much you can configure on the router. You've already enabled UPNP and the status for uTorrent says it's OK. Perhaps there's just not much demand for the torrent or it's overseeded.

At home I'm currently seeding 78 torrents for private trackers. Torrents on private trackers tend to be overseeded because everyone wants to get their up/download ratio up.. I just checked and my upload is at ~250KB/s for 2 of the 78 torrents. Most of them are just sitting there doing nothing.

QUOTE(StuartLee2015 @ Jun 30 2016, 07:41 PM)
wait... here's the both pictures...
*
Yep, you're on a public IP so that's not the problem.

Oh... could it be my Ipv6 is disabled?
*
Doubt it, you can always renable it and test. My ipv6 is always disabled.

Here's my current seeding situation (like yours!). 0.9 KB/s upload. Not very good business at the moment.

So i guess it's the router compatibility with p2p...

I still remember i get 400Kb/s and up with old DIR-615 router... and only changed it since it always giving no internet access ...
*
Don't worry about it. In my previous screenshot, you'll see one of the torrents going at 0.1KB/s and yet the total uploaded is 45GB. Torrents tend to upload in spurts. Just keep track of the total uploaded.

Below is my router's outgoing traffic for the last 2 weeks. My uTorrent upload limit is set to 5mbps. Those spikes that you see are probably my uTorrent upload traffic. My point is, depending on the torrent, that it may not be a constant upload but rather occurs in spikes that you may or may not be around to see.

I am confused  rclxub.gif
In short, if i want all my devices connected to my wifi with google DNS, which one should i change? Service/DHCP or Service/DNS Server?
*
Apologies for confusing you.

Both ways also can. The one with fewer steps is:

Service/DHCP Only
1. Use "Set Manually" and key-in your custom DNS servers here, router will give out those DNS to your PCs and phones.
(so your PCs should get 8.8.8.8 for DNS server)
user posted image

That's it.

-----

Service/DNS Server is only used when Service/DHCP is set to "Use DNS Relay".

Hello guys.
I am on the verge of suscribing VIP30 soon.
Few questions:

1. Stock router can perform well for double stories house?
2. Which way of suscription is advised? Agent? Walk in nearest TM? Or thru frutie (lol just jk)...

Thanks.
*
1. RGX4400, one of TM's current stock routers, the other being the DIR-850L, is pretty good. Covers my uncle's 3-storey terrace house entirely on 2.4GHz. It's placed on level 2 about 1/3 into the house. House land area is 24x70.
2. nyunyu here did the application. Documentation sent Thurs night. Installation done on Mon. Pretty efficient. Maybe he can get you some free gifts.

RT-N14UHP has 9 dBi antenna gain. Might be too much to cover 2 floors. Depends on how high your ceiling is. Perfect for one floor though. Incidentally, I have one with me right now.

How's the wifi coverage of the RGX4400 for your house? Rough description of your house will be good too. Using 2.4Ghz or 5GHz?

Hello guys,

Suddenly last midnight my unifi down. Dont know what the problem. Already called CS and they said my area ok no problem but they can see that only my house dont have connection. The "Link" not blinking on the modem. Usually what can occur this problem?

Many thanks
*
Link not blinking meaning it's on steady or totally off?

Does the Unifi telephone work?

If no link or telephone not working, could be modem, modem psu or cable rosak somehow. Maybe somebody accidentally tercabut your fibre at the distribution box. Happened to my neighbour.

whole kota kinabalu streamyx down?? or?
i've been connecting to a very specific IP
172.XX.XX.XX...it will never change IP...its connected but no internet
called 100, say KK having disruption and the call center is offline
*
what's the 2nd number? if 16 to 31 then that's a private IP (172.16.0.0/12). So far I think Unifi users haven't encountered that IP yet.

now that i didn't pay attention to
25 i think..i might be wrong
but i remember the last 2 number keep flunctuating...i remember once i got 172.XX.29.99
now at office, 100 doesn't work at midnight or morning...so call also useless
only can call after work if problem still persist
*
The last 2 numbers doesn't matter. The first 2 lets you know if you're on a public or private IP. But public or private, your internet should still work. It's probably a problem on TM's end so just have to keep on reporting till they fix it.

Turn out to be quite a few of my neighbors share the same fate. The green box outside is damaged.

Oh no! That's bad. Some of the green boxes I see by the roadside just waiting for a car to come crash into it. Hope TM comes and fix it fast. No internet, take the time to reconnect with your family. Just kidding. biggrin.gif

Anyone on ipv6 free to test out something for me? Go to:

http://[2001:e68:5428:7eab:5405:cf8:8b5a:4026]:8082

That's my iPhone camera. Just want to test if it can be accessed directly using ipv6. You should see a CD and a red cable and a piece of tissue fluttering in the wind.

6:18pm: Camera offline for now. Going out for dinner.

Thanks very much. Go makan first, later come back and play some more with ipv6.

To Everyone Who Has IPv6 enabled
This also highlights one of the dangers of ipv6. That, all your devices are directly addressable from the internet. Whether it's actually reachable will depend on the firewall in the router.

On what basis TM decides when to suspend Unifi account?
Is it once it reaches Credit Limit, or after a missed 1 or 2 payments ?
*
Usually 2/3 weeks after payment due date. 1 missed payment is all it takes. Nothing to do with the credit limit.
