FTTH, never encountered this before after using unifi for 5 years, this happened after I switched my wifi router to huawei ws880, however, it is my BTU performed VOIP VLAN untag and convert it PSTN signal, so it shouldn't be caused by Hauwei wifi router
Switch back to TM's original router and see if you still have the same issue
If yes, then the problem is probably with the BTU or TM's side

I highly doubt WS880 is the cause of the issue

Lastly, he told me I need to go TMPoint to sign a 2 year contract for Streamyx, processing time would be 1 week.
Your own post already answers your own question
You haven't sign anything, that means the contract hasn't started yet

Just continue with the UniFi sign up
Nothing to worry about

I was offered Rm179 for Unifi 30, free 600 min call to both mobile n fixed line and Aneka pack. Contract renew 2 years with 1 year warranty on equiptment. Is this good deal already?
Yes. Better than paying RM199 for the same bundle

Need opinion. Is this legit?

Here's my simple opinion:

If it's UniFi, take it straight away
If it's others, don't

OMG...iOS app still can't update with super speed...wat is going on... ranting.gif
Just updated 2 iOS apps where each of them more than 100MB and the update for both of them takes less than 20 seconds

Try restarting your router & get a different IP range

You can't change it but you can request it to be resetted.
The new password will still be a gibberish mix of numbers & letters so it really doesn't make a difference

You only have to type/copy-paste this password ONCE when setting up your router, also very hard?
I wasn't complaining about the gibberish mix of words & numbers
I was just stating that the password will be a mix of gibberish mix of words & numbers

lol. its a free router so its okay i guess.....
It's not free. Hence the reason why you're paying at least RM149 a month for the speed of only 5Mb/s yawn.gif

Whereas with TIME Fiber, you could get 100Mb/s for the same price

Anyone getting bad speeds on UniFi recently?

My 20Mbps has been getting only 5 - 10mbps for the past few days.
Did you test that while using WiFi or ethernet cable?
QUOTE(soyusa @ Aug 18 2016, 03:13 AM)
I already raised my complaint via email at help@tm.com.my for this matter, it should be FREE as they told me previously and now they bill me for it, d*mn TM!  ranting.gif
If they told me earlier there will be charges for it, I would not agree with the hardware replacement!  mad.gif  mad.gif

WiFi. I was getting 20Mbps previously on WiFi too.
Connect a laptop / desktop to the wireless router using ethernet cable & run the test again

If you're still getting 5 ~ 10Mb/s when using ethernet cable - Issue from TM. Call their helpline & explain the issue
If you can reach 20Mb/s when using ethernet cable - Issue from congested wireless signal. Not TM's fault, you need to resolve this on your own

guys i think my router kaput already (dir 615) and used it more than 2 years.. can i go to any tm branch and ask for free replacement?
No. TM only provides 1 year warranty for wireless router, DECT phone & HyppTV
You're better off buying a 3rd party UniFi compatible buying wireless router rather than buying from TM

getting my old dir-615 replaced tomorrow by TM, im guessing the new router provided won't be any better  sad.gif
Stop relying on TM & buy your own router
Set aside RM100 / RM200 every month so you can buy a better router such as ASUS RT-AC68U or go for the monster: ASUS RT-AC5300

Hi there, just finding out if the TP Link Archer C20 supports IPv6 on UNifi?

If yes, is it using the Tunnel 6to4 protocol or PPPOEv6?
PPPOEv6
