hahah. that rise map susah. even i use the nuke eject i still die cause eject into ceiling when the titan move a bit hahahah. i like how during drop ship you can still do stuff though. the other day throw electric smoke outside of dropship and wiped out mortar team hahaha.

I have never used tone much since launch day. But for frontline tone feels great. The 200mm rounds pounding on hard titan metals plate and the sound btw each burst... satisfying even when mission fails. Lol

Yesterday went on hard mode with aegis rank 2 titan, manage to survive with poodlepaddly.

2/3 match won , GG poodlepaddly.

Tone is useless in hard mode. I see favourites are scorch & legion for tank and damage. Monarch for shields is ok too.
Now levelling my scorch and North Star in regular.

i also never really got into tone. dunno why. Ion all the way for me bebeh! especially with vortex shield +35% damage against those nuke legions. should we try insane tonight? hahah.

if you are in a party, then dont need as long as the party leader is Aegis 5 and above. the 2 titan per lane isnt so necessary but it helps clean up. later when you reach hard mode you will see. its just not possible as they come from everywhere. RISE is a 3 lane map. so need vanguard, 1 titan per lane, and 1 titan to guard the harvester against those that make it through. for me the nuke eject power up (500 credits) is a must! and also titan nuke eject also!

and yeah as paddly said dont need to worry about being a score chaser. doesnt really matter other than ego. just battle it out, the only reason to be score chaser is to get those extra few credits as MVP hahah.

for me in that map i will jaga top right. then need someone on the right side and then 2 titan on left. top right a lot of fking mortar titan. so normally i will put arc trap there and also nuke eject them. but susah because sometimes they run away. T_T

Next time ww3 just deploy those fecking ticks only. Guarantee wipe a whole country with more kills than ww2 landmines.

Hard mode with tone, North Star & scorch. Depends on map but scorch/legion is better overall

just check to see what your team is running. the problem with legion and scorch is their speed. so if 1-2 people using, then ok. if 3 using these slow titan. then gg. sure lose. need to have mobile vanguard unit to quickly rush in and out of combat. and also hit behind the map for mortar titans. im not sure about monarch though.... i dont even notice him on the map hahaha. feels like i dont do well when a monarch is around. most of the time kalah...

still feel that monarch DPS not quite high in frontier defense , even with rack missle upgrade , faster rearm , x016 accelerator.

never used him at all. but seems there is some sorta healing smoke thing...

well, Monarch's a support titan, so best played by flanking enemies and stealing shields+pummeling from the sides/behind.
She can stay alive a long long time if played right.

IMO, medium DPS+non stop attack is still a much more appealing option than high DPS+quick death.

Having said that, almost at Apex, so will then move to another titan once Monarch is maxed

her shields regenerate when enemies get hit by her smoke. (but is an aegis upgrade, IINM)

ohhh. i thought heals other titan haha.

for me, i use Ion. rush and die... hahahah. but important for Frontier defence when need to make quick work out of those mortar/nuke titans. i think last time called down like 5-6 titans LOL.

yesterday tried to do master mode but no match thoguh... in the end still hard. once max ion then will try the insane mode...

then you can lepak at the harvester and use your vortex shield to throw away mortars when they near the harvester

usually at night before 10(during night shift) or until 11.30pm (during early morning shift)
Haven't touched my ps4 in a couple of days now, been busy

haha. yeah i tried that last time. but can only catch aroudn 30-50% of the mortars. so feel not worth it. hahah. but sometimes emergency i will do it if got other titans attacking the morter launchers.

maybe we can play on the weekend then. sometimes play with PUG really stress. the other day i rage cause one northstar refuse to move a few meters and snipe the mortar titan. he play peekaboo shoot one bullet then hide then after didnt kill him, the fella just walked away. wtf.... i ran from across the whole map to kill the mortar titan... hai.... i guess he takut the titan kill his titan or something... shizz...
