After some consideration, my friend decided to add another RM500 to the budget amounting RM2500.00 in total.

I've done a little bit of searching and these are my foundings.
I hope sifus here could comment on the cons of the laptops listed so I can narrow down the list

1. Lenovo Ideapad 510-15IKB 80SV00CBMJ 15.6" Laptop/ Notebook (i5-7200U, 4GB, 1TB, NV 940MX, W10H)
2. Acer Aspire E5-575G-52H9 15.6" Laptop/ Notebook (i5-6200U, 4GB, 1TB, NV 940MX, W10H)
3. HP Pavilion 14-al102TX 14" Laptop/ Notebook (i5-7200U, 4GB, 1TB, NV 940MX, W10H)
4. Any other choices in mind...?

P/s: my friend is doing graphic designs. So I guess dedicated graphic card and ram matter most right? Screen size more than 14' is ok.

which one is better? in terms of cooling and gaming performance. I've seen the specs on paper, their diff mainly is between 2gb vs 4gb vram, 4gb ddr4 vs 8gb ddr3 memory, 128gb ssd vs hybrid HD.

hmm okay, dell hhd is 5400 rpm hybrid while Asus is 7200rpm non hybrid plus ssd (saw in the max spec model, should be same for the above mentioned)
all is 960 gtx wor. if output 4gb ddr4 vs 8gb ddr3, 8 gb still win right. let's say I don't add any. he leaving in ten days. abit sad can't get latest.

but that 1 2GB vram right, if in future will use an external monitor on laptop then 4gb helps?

ROG wins in terms of proc - i7 6th gen vs i5 6th gen
7566 wins in terms of graphics - 960m 4gb vs 950m 2gb

Is it worth the price diff for ROG?

Also, seems like 7566 isn't out in msia yet?
