Brand - Any
Budget - RM4k+-
Usage - Work(Ms Office and emails only) plus gaming (Overwatch and WoW at the moment)
Preference - 256GB + 1TB HDD. i5 will do and 8gb RAM. USB slot powerful enough to drive an ipad

I also prefer a more professional looking laptop as I'll be carrying this laptop around as part of my work.

Brand - Any
Budget - RM2.3K MAX
Usage - Work(Excel/Word) + MATLAB
Preference - Solid build quality, long battery life, good quality display,no need for dvd

I am quite inclined towards the ACER ASPIRE E5-575G-525V, but some said that Acer laptops are very fragile, especially the display. Dell is said to be the one to choose from if quality and longevity are a concern, however the model in my price range doesnt offer much in term of specs.

Any suggestions dear sifus?

Simple squarish laptop without fancy shape or monster design on the outside, without backlight. I use it sometimes for presentation.

Looking for a laptop for my friend. Please help guys~ smile.gif

1. Preferred Brand - Not Acer
2. Budget - around RM3,000
3. Usage - 3D Max, Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop and etc
a) <15 inches, the bigger the better.

Preferably, built in SSD, at least i7 processor.

it looks like you're gonna use those software heavily
i suggest take laptop with i7 HQ version no the U version to handle those software smoothly and faster
but you should top up a little bit of money for a good spec

Lenovo Ideapad 700 Intel i7-6700HQ, 4GB DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GTX 950M 4GB, 500GB SATA HDD & 128GB SSD, 15.6" IPS FHD, 2.3KG RM3.8k
